I was able to view the granite slabs and spoke to Matt briefly while I was there. When Matt came to my house to measure my countertops, he remembered my name. "For several years, we’ve been planning to replace our kitchen counters. When Angie’s List promoted a deal offered by Jeffress Stone, we inquired whether this was the deal we’d been looking for. And it really turned out to be, from quality of the stone to craftsmanship to value. First, Jeffress sent us photos of the stones included in the deal. When we realized we couldn’t make a decision based solely on photographs, Jeffress arranged for us to visit their warehouse, where we were treated graciously. But we found something we liked much more than the samples, and feared that the up-sell would bust the deal. But the added cost proved to be reasonable and fair. Both direct contacts were professional and timely. Gary arrived a few minutes early to make measurements and the template, and that process took nearly two hours. As a result, the finished stone fit perfectly. Similarly, the installation crew arrived a few minutes early, and the owner, Dave, followed close on their heels. He was present throughout the entire installation. We were especially impressed by the care with which the crew mixed caulk to match our cabinets exactly for one tricky seam. The crew took care to clean up when the job was done and to make sure we were satisfied with the installation. We’ve received several compliments on the new look in our kitchen and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jeffress Stone."

Good group of guys showed up to perform the work.  However, the work performed was just fair.  I ended up with paint drippings on approx. 70% of my roman shades throughout the house and more on the floor in a number of places.  I was supposed to get 2 coats throughout the home.  To me, two coats means two coats.... one coat applied, let dry, second coat applied.  To them, it means using a roller wither a deeper pile.  So, get up close to my walls and you can see the color beneath where the coverage wasn't enough.  Luckily my new color was really similar to my old, so it's not a glaring issue.

My mudroom was painted an incorrect color.  It appears that they had run out of the color needed and just moved forward with what they had instead of driving 1 mile to Sherwin Williams and picking up a gallon.  Again, the color wasn't a drastic change from the other, so maybe they thought it would go unnoticed??

I'm a business owner myself and understand the importance of speed of work to maximize your profit, but NEVER at the expense of quality and professionalism.  Slow down, take a bit less profit, do incredible work and watch your business explode!

"George and his crew did an outstanding job! They were prompt, courteous, professional and really seemed to enjoy their work. George came to meet with us to estimate the work and provided us a quote within 1 business day. From estimate to completion, the team completed the job in 5 business days.
After day 1 we didn't like one of the colors we had chosen after seeing it on the walls. We talked with George about it and he was very accommodating, and just wanted to make sure we would be happy with the final results. He also installed a new vanity in one bathroom. ibrahim was our designer , he provided an estimate promptly and completed the jobs within the agreed upon time frame.
