"The tech installed a new alarm system which is a more up to date system compared to my old . He also removed my old system. He also answered many questions and the taught me how to use the system - including how to use it remotely.

"Have worked with Jeremy and Larry at 1st Security for a few months now and they're great. They're far more responsive than any other alarm company I've worked with and they're focused on meeting your needs, versus endlessly trying to get you to buy more services and sensors that you might not need. In the house I just bought some other alarm company had installed a window open/close sensor on a window that doesn't open - probably fooling the prior senior citizen owners to pay more for more equipment they didn't need. "Theo was amazing! I had talked with the alarm monitoring company (Moni) about the issue and they were going to send someone out to the house to replace a sensor, although they were doubtful that is what t it was. In the meantime, I decided to call ProTECHt, even though they had installed our system 3 years ago. I talked with Theo, the owner, on a Saturday and he talked me through some attempts to find out what was wrong. I insisted the noise was coming from the sensor and he, nicely, insisted it couldn't be. He took me through some tests, we deleted the sensor from the system through the keypad and even took it off the wall and put it in another room and, lo and behold, we were still getting these horribly loud beeps from the hallway! As it turns out, the beeps were coming from a carbon monoxide detector in the same hallway indicating the battery needed to be changed. How embarrassing! On Sunday, Theo walked me through reprogramming our system and all is okay now. I don't know of too many business owners who would be willing to spend time assisting a customer on a Saturday and Sunday, do you? Theo charged us a $50 service fee, only at my urging."
