They weren?t the cheapest quote, but it was comprehensive and ended up on target. The team kept me informed through scheduling, and measurements. On site, Cris, his assistant, and Mike (windows) kept me fully informed. A post-installation issue on window trim was solved immediately ? even though the bill was already fully paid. "They came and looked at our roof but unfortunately they do not understand what an estimate means. The customer is expecting to pay a certain price for certain repairs. Nothing more, nothing less. This company likes to include open ended clauses in the contract which would allow them to charge more as they see fit when they get the job and the competition with other providers is over. This is just unacceptable. Nobody hires a company without a clear budget unless they want trouble."

"It was time to replace my roof and I requested several estimates from roofing companies. I selected Marshall Roofing Siding and Windows. It was not the cheapest estimate but the estimate assessment by Mr. Chris Butler, of Marshall Roofing, was the most thorough. Mr. Butler inspected the roof, went into the attic (and found a bathroom vent venting into the attic instead of outside), went into my screened in porch to determine what kind of nails to use so that they would not come through the tongue and groove ceiling and he noticed some old satellite dishes that could be removed. Marshall roofing updated the proposal several times with all of my concerns and additions. This is great customer service! When it came to choosing a shingle color, we struggled to find the right color. Mr. Butler kindly offered to bring out additional shingle samples to us on a Friday afternoon. Again, above and beyond customer service. Mr. Butler also worked with us to find and install an attic fan specifically designed to be quiet when running. The job started promptly on time and was finished in two days. Mr. Butler came out as the job was wrapping up and when the crew finished packing up, on his own, he did a second magnetic sweep around my house to find any nails that may have been missed during the magnetic sweep performed by the crew. Again, great customer service! We are very happy with the workmanship and customer service that we received from Marshall Roofing and would highly recommend their services!!"

"I hired Exterior Medics in October 2025 to replace a small six-step staircase. I was quoted nearly $13,000 and told permitting would take 3?4 weeks. I paid a 50% deposit via ACH (a mistake, since I wouldn't be able to later dispute the payment through a credit card issuer). Six months later, there is still no permit, no work, and no refund. After months of delays, I was told the permit had initially been filed with the wrong jurisdiction. Since then, I?ve received repeated assurances, flowcharts explaining the process, and promises that someone would follow up?none of which led to progress. When I requested my $6,443 deposit back, I was told my request had been ?escalated.? No one ever followed up. At this point, six months after paying 50% upfront, I have no staircase and no clear path to getting my money back."
