Small jobs welcome

"Ryan was great. Great customer service. Contacted me quickly after I posted my information. I wasnt going to be home…so I needed someone quick. Was out the next morning by 9am, plus picked up a few materials for me from Home Depot. Had the job completed quickly and efficiently. Job well done….definitely a 5 star. "

"Sentri Homes provided the most professional flooring service I’ve ever had. The LVP installation turned out absolutely beautiful, and I was amazed at how quickly everything was completed without sacrificing quality. The crew was fast, accurate, and extremely detail-oriented from start to finish. Everything was installed cleanly, precisely, and with real craftsmanship. The entire process was smooth, efficient, and far beyond what I expected. I would absolutely recommend Sentri Homes to anyone needing flooring installed."

"Five years after moving into our house we were finally ready to update our house's full bathroom. The bathroom design and fixtures were (from what we believe to be) last updated from the early 90s. A pedestal sink and clawfoot tub (converted to a shower) were a couple of the features that just did not fit our needs. The bathroom's footprint is quite small (just 6ft x 7.75ft) and afforded no built-in storage. So for a remodel we knew what was on our need-to-have list. Our goal was to convert the tub to a real shower and replace the pedestal sink with a cabinet that would give us more storage and maximize the available space. We had received quotes from remodelers that led us to believe that we would have to go down the route of having to do a custom build/remodel. The fixtures and custom finishes of these proposals were very nice but the price (in our mind) for such a small space were out of our budget. We were also told a remodel could take a month to complete. Being without our only full bathroom for that long just didn't seem realistic. So after searching online for other options we came across Simple Bath. Shawn Barral, our design consultant, showed that we could achieve our goal without going down the expensive & lengthy custom build/remodel route. The design, fixtures, & components they proposed allowed for cost and installation-time savings. These advantages ultimately fit our goal. Going through the process from preliminary design, fixture & finish selection, measurement, demolition, and installation all went very smooth. Our installers, Justin & Hunter, were tasked with (in my opinion) unenviable job of demolition which included removal of a very heavy cast-iron tub and very dusty & dirty work associated with plaster & lathe walls. They also persevered through the challenges of working with an old home which included unleveled floors and out of plumb walls in addition to a very tight workspace. At the end of each work day the worksite was clean and tidy, which was something that is often overlooked during a remodel. By the end of the work week, the installation finished right on time with incredible results. It was an incredible transformation that happened so quickly and so smoothly. Our new bathroom is so much more presentable and vastly more usable."

"We ordered our kitchen cabinets from Cabinets.com for our Kitchen Renovation. The cabinets arrived on time and the quality did not disappoint - they are made very well. We love our new cabinets! Their customer service is exceptional. I recently ordered two shelves to match our cabinets and I did not realize the side edges did not have a finished surface - I contacted customer service and Amy sent me edgebanding as a courtesy free of charge - That was very much appreciated. Thanks Cabinets.com"

"Erik was hired to install IKEA cabinets in our home for a full kitchen renovation. I felt confident in assembling the cabinets and finishing them (doors, hardware, drawers, toe kicks, etc) but we wanted a professional to make sure the cabinets were hung level, plumb, and square. From our first conversation it was obvious that Erik is an expert in all things IKEA. He provided some guidance and changes to our design to make some subtle improvements that would not have been obvious to us. He also immediately identified a critical flaw in our design that would have greatly impacted the final outcome but luckily we had enough time to get the proper replaced item. Communication with Erik was decent but be prepared for patience with emails and texts. Phone calls seemed to be most effective. Also be prepared to be patient for his schedule. Despite our efforts to plan ahead and get on “his radar” back in July, it still took several rounds of calls and discussions to finally get a week nailed down and the arrival day wasn’t determined until the week-of. You will need to be flexible. The installation was very fast - he had all of the work completed in one day. He is also very precise and detailed. He took time to show me how cabinets were anchored to the wall, that cabinets were level and prepped for the countertop template. He also cleaned up nicely, was courteous in our home and has a professional demeanor. The installation wasn’t without issue though. He accidentally stepped on a weak piece of our corner cabinet and broke it. His solution was to “sister” a piece below it. I was told it wouldn’t affect the countertops as this had no load bearing properties and it won’t be visible once countertops are installed. I believe that he is correct, and accidents happen, but it was disappointing as mishaps was something I wanted to avoid and large reason why we elected to hire someone rather than do the installation ourselves. No adjustment was made to the agreed upon price to account for the broken cabinet which I felt would have been the appropriate thing to do even it was a minor reduction. Overall, I would hire Erik again and be better prepared to be patient and clearly a communicate my expectations. He is precise, detailed, and very knowledgeable on IKEA systems. His involvement resulted in a nice overall outcome."

"The Kitchen Place (KP) did a fantastic job for us renovating our kitchen. We visited multiple kitchen contractors in the Dayton area. Several of them from first impressions and customer recommendations were excellent and I don't doubt they would have done a good job. But for the price, selection, and customer service, we are very satisfied with KP. The KP team (we worked with Tom Detty) provided outstanding customer service from the time we walked in the door until job completion. KP employs dedicated subs who have worked with the company for 20+ years. These guys were very professional and kept on schedule as each kitchen component became available from the manufacturer. When the job was complete they left kitchen remarkably clean with minimum housework on our part. You owe it to yourself to visit The Kitchen Place when searching for kitchen contractors. KP will be very competitive in price, selection and service with any contractor in the Miami Valley."

"We tore out our entire bathroom, floor to ceiling. We had an idea of what we wanted in cabinets and based on a recommendation from a decorator asked Clyde to provide a quote. His quote was WAY less than any other quote we received. Clyde came out and measured and provided a quote in no time at all. Then we had all the other work done, floors replaced, shower, walls, soffit removed, etc. The final touch was the cabinet installation. Clyde was on time and ready the day we needed him. Not only had he matched our existing wood work color perfectly but the cabinets were/are beautiful. His attention to detail was amazing. Our contractor was so impressed that he asked Clyde to help him with all of the wood baseboards and crown molding. Clyde graciously agreed. I just built another house in another state and I've yet to find anyone who can match Clyde's quality. Thank you Clyde!! <br />"

"Initially, we contracted with a well-known Miami Valley kitchen remodeler, but after months of planning, their final estimate was too high. They were offering stock cabinets, which wouldn't fit the space as I originally conceived, so I would have to alter the plan. I received a reference for Gary Peters, who uses Larry Bower of Daystar Enterprise as his contractor. Within a week, both Gary and Larry made separate trips to my house to discuss the project. We received a design and estimate free-of-charge within 2 to 3 weeks of the first contact. Their estimate for custom cherry cabinetry was $6,000 less than the other company's stock cabinets. Through emails and visits, Gary and I designed the cabinets and kitchen layout. I drove out to his workshop to witness his craft firsthand. Gary anticipated major and minor design practicalities. When I was struggling to pick out outlet covers for the island, he informed me that he'd already made them out of wood to match the cabinets. Gary started and finished on time. He advised me of the cost of each detail. He guided me when I was stuck by a decision on hardware and stain color. He respected every choice I made. With Gary, you're not just getting a new kitchen; you're getting furniture."
