"Everything seemed to go well. They spent 5 days installing my high efficiency gas furnace, heat pump, and zoning system. The installer, Dave, explained everything very well. It was very expensive, but the equipment was fairly high end. A few years later, though, we discovered that the zoning system had been wired wrong for about five years. It was not discovered even though it had been serviced every year regularly. The zoning system was preventing heat from getting into the proper rooms at the proper times because it was wired improperly. Also, a year after it was installed, plastic shards from the installation got jammed into the condensation pump, causing my furnace to shut down."
