"It is a pleasure for me to provide feedback on this team! Wow!! I don't think I've ever seen such commitment to excellent work and excellent service! I wouldn't recommend another company to do pavers, concrete, or landscaping work. The attention to detail was absolutely amazing! They transformed the front and the back of my home with beautiful pavers, hand cutting each piece and laying each one of them so symmetrically. I've had at least half a dozen neighbors stop in to see their work and ask for a business card! And the clean up...my goodness. Each day they wrapped up everything, put tools away, and keep everything so tidy and clean. I really appreciated that. No mud and dirt everywhere...it was incredible! During my consult, I shared my vision with Jose and his team created the design for the back patio, the walkway, and a new front porch. I trusted his expertise and wow - it is so beautiful. "My husband and I came across 7th State Builders online. Eddie came out to our home for our initial consultation. He was punctual and professional. He listened to our vision and took the time to draw out a plan and explain the process. He was very knowledgeable and made some great suggestions. We decided to do a big project at our home. For the back: a rebuild and waterproofing of our previous deck and a large patio to go underneath it with a fire pit and sitting wall. The front of our house needed some repairs so we had them redo our sidewalk in the same patio pavers from the back. The whole area in front of our garage was cut out and they put in new concrete and leveled it out. They rerouted our gutters to prevent flooding as the previous design was doing damage to our foundation. The owner, Chase, was very hands on and kept us updated the whole time. He frequently made sure we were happy with the way things were going. The whole team made this project an enjoyable experience. Iâ ll admit, my husband and I can sometimes be difficult people to please-But wow!! They really knocked it out of the park for us! 7th Stateâ s precision and talent is unmatched. You are truly working with people that know what they are doing and they are the best at what they are doing. Communication from start to finish was consistent and open. They were very patient with our ideas and they added to our vision in ways we didnâ t think was possible. The whole crew was professional and extremely hardworking. Not only did they do an amazing job but you can tell this is their passion. The little touches they put on everything are amazing. The details they put in set them apart from the rest. On every area of this project they went above and beyond. The transition of starting another area after the completion of another was seamless. "Steve Norfolk and his crew dug down to the footing and applied the waterproof material a section at a time.  The original plan was to dig the entire area first and then apply the waterproof material all at the same time.  However daily torrential rains turned the area into a sea of mud, so he decided to do it a section at a time to minimize problems associated with the rain.  He had to break up a concrete slab (porch) for 1/2 the front, and approximately 25 feet of driveway next to the house.  Progress was slow due to the rain and mud, but Steve steadfastly pursued the completion of the job despite the setbacks.  Although justifiably discouraged by the rain and lack of progress, he exhibited a positive "can do" attitude and kept at it.  The finished product was professionally done.  Backfill and all concrete were properly completed, and grass seed applied.  Steve is a conscientious professional who knows his business and can be relied upon to do the work he says he will accomplish.  I would use him again in a heartbeat.

"Richard and his team did a great job. Richard came out promptly for a free estimate and offered options for repairing and replacing our driveway. We chose to pave over our old cement driveway with asphalt, a one-day job. Richard worked with the team all day, and they finished the job by late afternoon. They prepped the area, applied the asphalt, beveled edges and smoothed transitions to existing walkway, steps, and cement apron by the road. The driveway is smooth, neat, and looks great! Richard was very responsive and pleasant to work with. We recommend him and his company to others.

"Contacted Jimi at Mailbox Express (of Northern Virginia) and he took the time to explain different mailbox post models, colors, and numbering options. Coordinated a timely date for installation and the day of Jimi texted me his enroute status and arrived on time. He painted post (selected brown) on site. Mailbox itself was extra large and of quality, high grade material and construction. Concrete at base was used to ensure long-term fixture and metal address numbers were painted (recommended silver on dark colored post) and nailed to flag side of post; also, adhesive / sticker style address numbers were placed on front of mailbox. Entire job took less than an hour. Overall, Jimi was extremely nice and his workmanship and attention to detail (e.g., paint, number symmetry, and post leveling, etc.) was truly outstanding! As a retired military officer, I can say without reservation that if you are in need of a new mailbox with post, you can’t go wrong hiring Jimi at Mailbox Express - thank you Jimi!"

"I had used Glenn many years ago for some masonry repairs and called him again for this project as I lost his number but I was elated to find his information on Angie's list. He came over very promptly after calling him and gave me written estimate detailing all the work to be performed. My front and back stoops and walk way renovation was a project I had put off for a long time, mostly from the dread of finding a quality mason contractor to do the job since I lost his number from before. Glenn kept me in the loop for the entire project and asked for my input along the way. They cleaned up the area around where the work was performed. Glenn was prompt and always called me every morning to tell me when to expect him, he was knowledgeable, personable and professional and I could go on and on! He and his crew finished the premium flagstone stoops and walkway exactly as designed ahead of the time he told me and strives for customer satisfaction as evidenced with his qualuty work. I can't think of any way this job could have been completed in a more professional manner or with a better company. Should I have need of a masonry contractor in the future, I will definitely call J & G Masonry as I was so very happy with the work performed. I'm already thinking about the next project that I can call Glenn about doing - possibly an outdoor brick oven. I miss seeing him come to my house every day. You won't be disappointed!"

"AC Paving did a superior job in resurfacing our 3600 square foot driveway. They had to cut out several areas where there were depressions and pave over roots, curves, and a round about. In the past, we have had several other paving jobs done, but by far, AC did the most professional job. You can just look at it and see it is a beautiful job, but the devil is in the details, the edge work is the best I have ever seen. The owner is right on site, directing his guys every step of the way. Reminds me of how my father ran his business. When I had a question about the wording of the contract, I called, and in 15 minutes the owner showed up at my door to review the fine print. Great customer service. You can tell this is a top notch business just by the way their trucks and equipment are in excellent shape, well maintained and clean.
