"the designer made three visits to the home and we made two visits to the showroom. The designer extended a lot of effort to make sure we were happy with the pattern and material.   when we reccived the drapery material and it was installed we were satisfied with the front window but the roman shades were obviously poorly made and didn't fit the windows.  We pointed that out and after a lot of discussion the shades were replaced. we finally settled on a type of shade that could have been better quality.   The firm gets an A for effort but a C for quality.  
Would we use this firm in the future?  We really liked the people involved but we  would have liked better quality for the money.

"I arranged for specific date to come in, but that was changed to another day since Tom's tint guy was busy. No big deal. I dropped off the car to be tinted and when I returned, I immediately saw that the tint guy had left drip marks down the sides of my car doors, smudge marks around the windows, and a bubble on the back window. This from a detail shop! I had asked for 20% tint to be put on and as I drove around the first day after being completed, I realized this tint was much darker. I took the car back and at first Tom said it WAS 20% but then realized it was 5%. Both 20 and 5 are illegal, but 5% is like limo dark. Tom agreed with me that it needed to be removed and redone. We scheduled a time and the tint was replaced. When I got in the car this time, I had new issues. I could see a small spot where there was no tint near the bottom of one window. Also, the rear defroster lines were severed at the bottom of the back window. Tom again agreed to have the tint redone. As far as I can see, the issues are now resolved, but what I'm left with is a car with signs of a poor tint job (the defroster) and several exterior cuts and scratches I swear weren't there before. (The car is not in perfect shape to begin with, but why should it endure more blemishes?). While Tom was agreeable to making things right and when I asked for a free wash he obliged, the whole experience made me wish I had never had gone to his shop in the first place. I had a car detailed there several years ago and liked the work, and thought a detail shop would surely demonstrate 'attention to detail.' I think Tom needs to find a new tint guy or just not offer that service if that's how it's going to be done."

"Very easy to set up this system. We had a partially wired system for over 20 years. It was simple to replace the sensors with the new ones. So much more compact and efficient that our old system. There were very few glitches and it was very easy to contact customer support to resolve them in a matter of minutes."

"This job was to renovate my home in preparation to sell it in early March. It consisted of a kitchen and 3 bathroom upgrade, flooring and lighting fixture replacement, painting and removal of 3 popcorn ceilings. Beginning the second week of January, the entire job was completed within 6 weeks. When first hired, the principal of Palm Construction carefully tuned in to my specific needs and targeted timeframe, offering succinct suggestions respects colors, style and quality of products used. Specialists in each trade worked cohesively with each other, as well as alongside other contractors that I had personally hired separately for windows and pool replaster. Although I had intended to live in the property during the renovation, I quickly realized that my occupancy was impeding progress, so I made the decision to vacate the premises. This was especially important during the removal of popcorn ceilings which contained asbestos. The work moved seamlessly from the removal of kitchen counters, sink, cabinet doors, appliances and flooring to the demolition of 3 bathrooms. Timely mutual decisions were made about fixtures, mirrors, flooring, sinks, vanities, paint and hardware, allowing the job to progress steadily to reach very precise goals. Along the way, it was determined that the air ducts needed replacing and AC would be a welcome addition to the total job. These issues were discussed and explained clearly and quoted at a reasonable cost - so I decided to add the change orders. Although I had never been involved with a home renovation in the past, I was very impressed with the patience and care taken to communicate with me throughout the entire job. I was a demanding customer with an expectation of perfectionism and Palm Construction was up for the challenge. Beyond the scope of the original job, Palm went above and beyond with finishing touches and little extras here and there. They've come back to help me even after completion of the job, when I needed some additional retrofits for my appliance installation, which was not even part of the original job. I know that I can count on Palm Construction to be responsive and willing for anything that may come up in the future. I learned that they are a GC that you can totally trust and rely on. In summary, I am in awe of the completed work. My friends and neighbors are astonished with the transformation of my home. The end product is flawless and most impressive. My realtor has already offered Palm Construction opportunities for other jobs. My neighbors have asked for their contact information to get quotes. I highly recommend Palm Construction for your renovation work, whether it is a large or small job. During the 6 weeks of this job, I got to know the principal, Guy Yaakov, and his team. Despite the complexities of the job and the incidental issues that came up, the personal follow-through and attention paid to all questions and requests were taken care of expeditiously and professionally.
