He always called me to look over work as he progressed, or found new things outside the original scope of the project. In the end, we have a really great looking wall that took more than twice as many bricks, and a couple weeks longer than we all expected due to unforeseen issues. Bert was a CHAMP by walking through any questions, concerns, and even took it on himself to source some window parts that required repair before he could complete the job. Bert was also extremely fair for additional costs when taking on weeks of work above what the contract outlined. "J&R are absolutely master craftsman at patio, walls, decking and lighting. They were professional from day 1, even when we flipped back and forth on some decisions, and we ended up with a superb back yard. I love my back yard so much now - before it was so pathetic and small and swampy. We liked that they were Trex Pro certified and could start right away and put enough people on the job to get it done quickly.
