"I pay a monthly fee to CHW for insurance against equipment failure. Over a month ago CHW sent a repair technician to fix both of my garage doors, the technician made an adjustment on one door and chanced the opener on the other. A week or so ago the second door failed to open. Yes, my door opener is old, but the Warrantee says, if it can’t be fixed it will be replaced. CHW paid the tech $100 and said the rest $200 is on me. Please tell me why I should stay with CHW if I have to pay 2/3rds of the cost to replace the door opener? On a separate issue: Granted I accepted CHW’s offer of a Lowe’s card to replace my dishwasher, because I was unaware of how much dishwashers sell for, it cost me an additional 300. Again, please give me a reason for staying with CHW"

"I asked Jeff, the representative, to inspect the attic.  I went with him and he explained to me that there was no damage inside yet.  He went up on my roof and showed me photos of wear on my old roof.  I signed the contract and we set a date to put on the new roof.  They were supposed to deliver the materials on February 22nd and begin work on February 23rd.  They did not deliver the materials until a day later then they told me. For the next 3 days they they told me that they would be there bright and early the next morning to start the installation.  When Friday the 26th came, it was time for me to go back to work and they had not started the job.  I am a nightshift worker and have to sleep during the day, so I couldn't have people on the roof pounding nails while I sleep.  The work was delayed until March 7th.  They showed up March 7th and worked on the roof for the next 4 days.  The roof looks very good and the workmanship looks professional.  On the last day, the last workmen came and picked up their tools but left some garbage in my back yard, including a piece of plywood.  I called Nick, the foreman, and asked him to send them back to pick up the garage.  He told me he would have them come pick it up, but they didn't.  In the contract it says that the job site would be kept clean and the rain gutters would be cleaned out.  The back rain gutter was full of shingle pieces with one piece completely occluding my downspout."
