Service providers e-mail response verified he did this type of repair, but I would have to wait 2 months for a service date( November 16th ) and it would be one day only. I wanted to be sure the project wasn't out of the scope of the Big Deal I purchased, and requested a cost estimate before the job started. We agreed on a date for him to contact me by phone, but I didn't hear from him, or at any time after the agreed date. Never got a cost estimate. Repairs completed by a roofing maintenace conpany instead."

"Juan Carlos and his team did a great job repairing our ceiling. They had to go through three layers of concrete board and drywall on our old house (1925) and the repair looks wonderful. They fixed the ceilings and walls with cracks in 5 different places and then painted. They were courteous and professional. I would hire them again. (Note: some of the attached photos show before the paint. After paint, it blends with the ceiling and walls much better.)"

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"I decided to try AmTek because of the reviews on Angie's List and the coupon they provided for a tune-up. I was concerned that my A/C, being 13 yrs old, would need some repairs although it has been working perfectly.
Chris, my serviceman, was very prompt showing up ahead of time for the appt and going straight to work.
Fortunately, he said that my unit was in good working order...always good news & a relief to me. The one thing he did find was a very small amount of mold that he said does not pose a problem at this time and didn't require treatment.
