He was up front about what could be done, how long it would take, his prices were reasonable and I was thrilled that I could have any color cabinets I wanted. He gave us a 5 week window for completion (of course, we have an older house, so I added two more weeks for unforeseen problems). The job was completed in 5 weeks – Wow! I have to say the best part of this whole experience was working with Mike's team. I can't say enough about how much John and Jack did for us during this process. They definitely went above and beyond the task and did a wonderful job. The cabinets are custom made maple, their doors are perfectly hung and balanced, the quality is perfect. I am totally thrilled with my new kitchen and would 100% recommend Kitchen Counsel for any job. Thank you sooo much Mike!!"

"This is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. So I ended up with a $21 refund on a $60 order, and a lesson learned about where not to buy appliance parts."

"Repair Clinic sent me a water intake valve that had some scuff marks and an unnecessary fixture (which I thought nothing of, assuming it had been removed from a new dishwasher). When the part did not fix my dishwasher's issue, I ordered a circulation pump, which also failed to fix the issue, so I decided to return both parts. Repair Clinic blamed me for the scuff marks and extra fixture, which is unacceptable. They referenced their return policy which states that parts which have been installed cannot be returned, and denied me any form of refund. For all I know, the water intake valve was defective, and I have no recourse. Don't put any stock in the "No-Hassle 365-Day Returns" they proudly tout on their homepage. Instead, expect finger-pointing and uncaring dismissal. You are better off with one of their many competitors."
