He did a great job on picking out which ones to use and how to lay them out. I also had all new base board installed in our house. It came out looking very nice and professional. "From the first meeting in the showroom to months after completion of the project when we'd call about minor issues, everything was outstanding. Steve and Vitaliy were tremendous throughout the process. Although we went into the project with the intent of solely replacing the flooring, we quickly realized that the prices were going to allow us to refinish the kitchen (at a fraction of the cost of a new kitchen) and add flooring in the bathroom and laundry room. Avenues made several trips to our house for measurements and discussion prior to beginning the project. They were there throughout the entire project overseeing the work and answering questions and concerns. Vitaliy has an incredible talent for finding what works best in the house. Once the project was completed, Avenues made several trips to our house to make sure that we were satisfied.
Once the project started, any unexpected issues were brought to our attention. Things that other contractors would have ignored or would have agreed to address for a significant upcharge were addressed professionally and without significant cost to us. Items that needed to be replaced (including flooring) were completed immediately.
We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. While the quality of the product and installation were both excellent, the service we received was outstanding. We've never had an issue that's not been satisfactorily addressed.

She arranged for her people to do the job on weekends and after hours to fit into the schedule we needed, even though the job was additionally complicated by her employee's family emergencies and by last-minute changes on our side. She helped us work out problems that came up during the job. The tile looks beautiful. It doesn't quite line up straight with the wall in the kitchen. I suspect that may be partly because the house is old and doesn't line up straight anyway."

"It went amazingly. Mark is a fantastic worker, and he spent weekends driving up and doing a remarkable job of finishing. He gave us an estimate up front and was very willing to work with our schedule, and then held to that. The most remarkable thing about Mark though, is his personality and attention to detail. Finishing work takes a very detail-oriented person, and he had the experience to make that work go quickly. In addition, he was willing to talk us through the process so that we understood what was going on and even learned how to lay a little wall tile ourselves for future projects! He also went above and beyond, helping us to hang a duct hood and make a few decisions about how to hide some ducting. And when we weren't sure about what would look best, he was ready with a recommendation that we were more than happy to take - and every recommendation ended up looking beautiful. As well as putting up the subway tile back splash, he created a surround for the window and some of the doorways that needed new trim. So he's got carpentry skills in addition to the fine detail and finishing work. I couldn't be happier with our decision to hire Mark.
