"The crew who came to the house included: Chris, Josh, Christian and Jeff. They were all very professional and they explained very clearly what work needed to be done and where they would need to cut into walls and ceilings. I found Modern Flooring Services when I was having a very difficult time with another installer that did a horrible job and I had to stop the job mid-way through. I called Modern Flooring Services via a reference from someone else in almost a panic, and they calmly walked me through how they were going to fix my vinyl plank installation job in my one bedroom apartment. Throughout the entire thing, their communication was impeccable -- whether over phone, email or text. They talked me through every concern I had, fixed anything I needed to have fixed as the job progressed, and made sure that the job was inspected by a supervisor at the end to boot. The team is Russian, and despite a language barrier with one of the main installers (who was excellent), I had absolutely zero problem working with the team to convey and get exactly what I needed, and on a tight budget. They never minded my questions about line items, change orders, and need for further explanations. I can't recommend them enough, I will definitely be working with them again. "From the first meeting in the showroom to months after completion of the project when we'd call about minor issues, everything was outstanding. Steve and Vitaliy were tremendous throughout the process. Although we went into the project with the intent of solely replacing the flooring, we quickly realized that the prices were going to allow us to refinish the kitchen (at a fraction of the cost of a new kitchen) and add flooring in the bathroom and laundry room. Avenues made several trips to our house for measurements and discussion prior to beginning the project. They were there throughout the entire project overseeing the work and answering questions and concerns. Vitaliy has an incredible talent for finding what works best in the house. Once the project was completed, Avenues made several trips to our house to make sure that we were satisfied.
Once the project started, any unexpected issues were brought to our attention. Things that other contractors would have ignored or would have agreed to address for a significant upcharge were addressed professionally and without significant cost to us. Items that needed to be replaced (including flooring) were completed immediately.
We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. While the quality of the product and installation were both excellent, the service we received was outstanding. We've never had an issue that's not been satisfactorily addressed.
