"Doug Hambel was the fifth plumber that I called.  One cancelled on me the day before the installation, two never called me back and one said it would be four weeks before they could get out.  Someone from Doug Hambel came out quickly to look at the job so they could quote it.  It took a couple of weeks before they gave me a quote.  I was about to give up on them when they called with a reasonable quote, less than the first quote when the plumber cancelled.  I was very happy when they scheduled the job two working days after I accepted the quote.  Three very professional men came out exactly on time.  When they unpacked the tub they noticed a small scratch.  One gentleman took the tub back to the warehouse and quickly came back with a tub while the other two continued working.  They installed the tub quickly and professionally and left the bathroom as clean as when they arrived.  I couldn't imagine a better experience."

"On Christmas day (2013), my wife and I noticed our downstairs toilets were overflowing after flushing and there was food waste coming through the tub drains in both bathrooms.  I called a local plumbing/septic company to come out and assess the situation.  The following day (12/26), a represenative arrived at my house and proceeded to dig up the access point to my septic tank system.  After breaching the opening to the septic tank, the represenative immediately said I needed a new drain field and provided me with an estimate which exceeded 5,000.00 (drain field / sod replacement).  I told the representative that I wanted to get a second opinion. <br /> I talked to some of my neighbors and they all recommended Reliable Septic.  I called Reliable that same day and the following day (12/27) Bruce and two of his employees showed up at my house.  I repeated the facts of the situation and Bruce went right to work.  He asked if my distribution box was dug up by the other company for troubleshooting.  I told Bruce that the other company only looked inside the access point to my septic tank.  One of Bruce's employees dug up the distribution box and it was clear what the problem was.  The pipes running from the distribution box to the drain field had separated and the distribution box had collapsed.  The employees dug up some of the drain field and the gravel and soil appeared to be unused and like it was put in yesterday.  (My home was built in 1989 and I moved in on 5/23/12). <br /> Bruce obtained a permit from our county and installed a new distribution box. In addition, he blasted/jetted my drainfield pipes as a precaution.  He installed manhole rings and risers on the tank access point and at the distribution box.  The work was completed on 1/7/14.  He kept me advised throughout the entire process and his crew left my front yard as they found it.  <br /> I can't say enough good things about Bruce and his crew.  They were prompt, professional and above all, honest. <br />"

"On a Sunday Sean Boates (owner) arrived at my house and quickly identified / confirmed a hot water slab leak under my dining room. He offered the option to repair the leak by jack hammering into my foundation and repairing the copper line (which would have created a huge mess and also required me to replace the hardwood flooring). He also suggested a less intrusive option of rerouting the water line through the attic and capping off the copper pipe which appeared corroded. He offered a fair price for a day's work for either option. I opted for rerouting. <br /> The following day (Monday) Sean and his two sons arrived on time and methodically / diligemtly completed the repair. Sean and his sons were easy to communicate with as they took the time to answer any question I had about the process. It was clear to me that they take pride in their work and used quality material and plumbing best practices. I will hire Eureka Plumbing for any future issues I encounter. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"On the day Hurricane Isaac came through Vero Beach, our one toilet was cracked (by my husband very early that morning) and we called Meeks Plumbing that same morning. They recommended what we should do, and we went to their offices and picked out two styles we liked. (We decided to change both bathrooms because the other toilet was very old and ready to fall apart, literally.) The plumber, Stan, was here by 9:30 a.m. the next morning as promised, was very professional and kind, had all the tools and equipment he needed and was finished by 11:30. We were so impressed by his speed with what he did; he wasn't appearing to rush through his job. He just knew what he was doing. <br /> Additionally, he advised my husband about our main water line into the house and the fix it needed and didn't charge any extra time that it took with that (about 30 minutes). <br /> We know some of the Meeks family in Vero Beach, and have done business with them before. They are a strong Christian family, and wonderful business people, as are their staff. Several of our friends have told us they always call them first if they have a problem with plumbing and that related area."
