"5 Stars for ASAP Plumbing/AC – installed 2 ½ Ton AC & 2 Gas Pipes They came on time, and gave me an estimate based on “TIME & MATERIALS” which is important to me. I changed my mind on A/C Size from 2 ton to a 2 ½ Ton, and Joe said no problem. Joe(with a Masters Plumbing License) itemized the line items and the cost for each and explained each, estimating the hours to do the jobs. The cost was substantial, but I felt was fair. He didn’t mind me tagging along, and explaining technicalities of A/C installing. So now I know how and I know I would be stupid to try it. He and assistant finished an hour early, and he deducted one hour labor cost from the estimate. Comparing ASAP Plumbing (5 Stars) to Horizon, Ben Franklin, and One Hour Plumbing; I have used all 3 of them. I give them 1 Star. They charge by the Job (NOT TIME & MATERIALS). They apparently base the “Job Charges” on maximum time a Job MIGHT take, and charges everyone for that max time. If you have an emergency, cost shouldn’t matter, so call any plumber, including them, for fastest service. It just so happened that a water pipe burst in the downstairs bathroom. Without going into details, about 5 minutes of GUSHING WATER went all over the floor, Joe turned the whole house water off, and installed a “valve” (?faucet?) which probably would be a $ 75.00 charge. He folded that charge into the total Invoice. To summarize. ASAP Plumbing was fair."
