"We used TBI back in 2005 ish?? Not exact on the year but we were and still are very satisfied with the work they did for us on our front steps and walkway. In replacing the front steps they discovered we had another issue and that needed to be resolved before they could continue with their work. They could have said nothing but instead Bill Taylor pointed out the issue which could have cost us alot more money down the road.. and all these years later we still appreciate the job TBI did for us.. the pavers and front steps are still in great shape thanks to Bill Taylor's high standards and great work ethic. We recommend TBI whenever we can. Recently I visited a friends home who had TBI do work for them and their finished work had the same consistency, quality and beauty that I have come to admire and expect from TBI. Strongly recommend TBI for your lawn, garden, and out door living space needs. Thanks TBI! ❤ The LaMarro's"

"Chip and the team did a fantastic job on our master bathroom! We really liked the coach approach to the project! After a consultation and some measurements we had a shopping list and some guidelines. Chip would check in from time to time and was available to answer any questions we had during the purchasing phase. We also received a project worksheet that was updated weekly via email with a summary of the project's status during the work phase. The guys were great, all skilled and a pleasure to be around. We'll definitely be contacting them for future projects!"

"Excellent work. From the design phase through project completion, Precision Decks & Remodeling did a great job adding a deck and matching flower beds to a small yard. Very happy with the crew, the work, and final result."

"Paul was a consummate professional. He only takes one job at a time and showed up every day until the project was complete, which was about on schedule. He was great at helping me design the kitchen to reflect what I wanted while lending his expertise to make suggestions for details that I would never have thought of. He was also very flexible to requests that I would think of mid-project and make them happen without any issues. The work itself was great. The kitchen looks beautiful and has improved my house tremendously. The price was better than some competitors and was very reasonable. I plan on hiring Paul (the philly homesmith) again for future projects."

"Owner, Greg Nichols, visited and inspected flowering cheery tree, recommended two treatments of tree and I signed contract. Had to call repeatedly and Mr. Nichols finally came for first treatment for which I paid. Called repeatedly when time for second treatment but never received a callback. Totally irresponsible and non professional. Finally had to call another service company."

"After a number of years of using this company for various chimney needs on two 100 year old fireplaces we are done. Their prices are very high and advice has spotty resulting in redo’s (at our expense) on numerous occasions, still, we hung in there. THEN the latest issue was a faulty damper that they had installed a few years ago. Constant problems ensued, requiring multiple service calls every year. The latest came two days after the last $800, chimney cleaning when the damper once again stuck then finally opened only half way. I asked for a final resolution as this could not continue. The response by the owner Mr. Beckthorn, was condescending , accusatory, rude and insulting, as if he was talking to a petulant child. He further informed me that if MY attitude didn't improve he was going to tell us to find another contractor. His final comment “if you have a real solution then propose it, otherwise, let me work”. I did .. and fired him - I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY."

"HORRIBLE CONTRACTORS!!! I have had contractors before and experienced some issues but this Anthony guy is very unprofessional and he is an absolutely nightmare! Not a single item was completed from the contract he and I agreed on and he took 60% of the contract amount and he stopped working the property. I had a property with some cosmetic work stuff and repairs which shouldn’t be that complicated. After he toured the property and gave me estimated time frame for 2 weeks. I know normally how it is not done with contractors so I asked him a few more times and confirmed if he could really finish it in two weeks. He was confident and said two weeks for no problem. After it has been almost 4 weeks, not even a quarter of work has been done and I noticed he didn’t even show up. He has so many excuses and complaints every single time when I contacted him. It felt like he was working for free which was not true. We agreed on 3 installment payments, 1st installment, before the job start about 30% of the total price, and 2nd one, 1/3 of the total price, and the last one at the completion of the job. After 2 weeks of work and not much of work has been done, he already requested for the 2nd installment. I asked him, the work has not been done 2/3 of the job, more over not even half way done. Anyway, he got upset and he wouldn’t continue the job if I didn’t pay. So I paid and then BOOM! He didn’t show up at work and when I asked him, his answer was it is too cold to work at the property. He made excuses and excuses and he said he will only come back if the heater is fixed. I did and texted him and called him. NO RESPONSE. Besides, his quality of work is horrible. He and his crew painted all over, light fixtures, light bulbs, floors, even bathtub. What kind of painter paint over the tub?! They simply didn’t even covered the parts not supposed to paint but they were so lazy and sloppy worker. They installed the brand new room doors, two out of three, didn’t even close properly and didn’t even use the shim. Installing the door is one of the basic carpentry job and he can’t even do that! I asked for the breakdown of the work and cost and no answer. When I confronted him for a few stuff, he just blah blah blah and repeating himself by making endless nonsense and not doing the job at all. Even if he does a job, not a good quality one."

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Vineland, NJ

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
