The builder tried to brace up the damaged joists and then overstressed the 2x4s trying to eliminate board sqeeks and groans. We didn't know this until Jim opened the floorboards and found the damage. This has bothered me for years. JIm stayed with the job even though the damage caused by faulty installation continued to cause problems. Eventually he was able to repair the damage and replace the noisy particle boards with plywood. I'm very pleased."
