"I had a shower remodel done in 2017 that was not done correctly and had been leaking under the tile until it finally broke thru the ceiling below and made me aware of the leak. My previous contractor was not responding to calls/texts, so I started the search for a new contractor.  I found Patriot Flooring through a google search that led me to Angie's list. I read their bio and reviews and gave them a call. I spoke with owner James on the phone and he came out within the next few days for a free estimate. He was on time and nice, but he gave me a quote that was more than what I was expecting. I learned when I got a 2nd estimate that James estimate was more than fair and I felt a good vibe with James and Tammy (owners) from phone and text, so I scheduled the remodel.  They showed up on time for the work EVERYDAY! They worked EVERYDAY, no slacking, no coming in late or leaving early, these guys actually worked til they could work no more for the day... and this was driving all the way from Hampton to VB every day. They cleaned up after themselves, they were polite and their work is beautiful! In this covid day and age it seems harder and harder to find people who actually want to work, Patriot is one of those few and I will most definitely use them again and recommend them. I really felt like family with Tammy, they truly cared about my family and have such integrity in their work, they truly stand behind their job well done. Not to mention, their pricing and workmanship are top notch!  Loving my new shower / bath, they truly made it a low stress process, even when they had to replace my entire subfloor due to water damage! Not having to worry about them not showing up or surprise fees.. it was refreshing! Their work speaks for itself, but the people behind this company are what truly gets my vote. Thank you! =)"

"David did such an excellent job on removing cat furball stains, as well as stains that arose shortly after we moved in 2.5 years ago! When a commercial carpet cleaning company, hired by the landlord, cleaned the carpet, it was a wet and vacuum. We know, because we hired the same company when we moved out of our previous apartment. David has a four step process that works so much better, because it doesn't leave soap in the carpeting. The stains were completely gone! During our final walk-through, our landlord was amazed. She was aware of the large pet stains from the previous tenant popping up. Also, the fragrant smell of the carpet cleaning was very pleasant and not over-powering. We just bought a home, and will be contacting David to clean our carpeting. What we thought would be impossible to get out the stains, was a wonderful surprise!"

"Mr. Northan and his assistant did an excellent job.    Several days it rained when they were supposed to do the job.  Mr. Northam stayed in constant contact with me on the days where the weather prevented him from doing the work.   Mr. Northam did a first class job!

"It went extremely well.  We have many dogs and every last trace of them was gone after Bobby cleaned our carpets.  Fantastic job and we will definitely use him again.  He also used a minty deoderizer and scotch guarded it, so that added to the expense of the cleaning.  We had been pondering replacing the carpet for a whopping $6,000 so we saved a lot of money by getting it professional deep-cleaned (not surface cleaned, like the $99.00 deals).  Definitely worth every single penney!

"I found Lynn on Angie's list and called to set up an estimate. He estimated rather low for the actual time that it took to complete the job (his estimate was $98--based on the assumption that the job would take a few hours.) He provided the tools (I had already purchased most materials), which was a blessing since the tile store had given me the wrong kind of tile-cutter. Lynn did an excellent job with the installation (the rock was crumbly and turned out to be difficult to work with). He created a side border with the marble bricks that made a clean even border between the backsplash and the painted wall. He cut the pieces with appropriate precision and worked with care and focus until the job was done. I decided to pay him more than we had agreed to when I saw how much longer the work actually took (2 days instead of the couple of hours he had predicted), but he was very gracious and probably would have accepted the original estimate. He's a man of integrity and skill."

They were prompt to arrive on the job and if there was any delay for any reason, they called ahead to let us know why and then gave an update on their estimated time of arrival. "They came out. They could not clean my tile because they could not remove the sealant.  I did not understand why because my husband and I did it before. It was very labor extensive. They really tried and I watched them. They were really disappointed that they could not remove the sealant. They did offer to return in a couple of days with a different product but it would be an additional charge. The man said he would provide a quote within twenty four hours. Three weeks later, I had to follow up. I did not use this company for the work. I had my deal reimbursed."
