""free estimates"? No. this is untrue. They told my wife it would be $150 just to come out and take a look. Not free. Secondly, they at no point until after the work was done broke down any of the cost of what they were going to charge. We had a small basement drain unclogged. The whole thing took like 45 minutes. Then we got the bill... almost $700 dollars. Nothing itemized, nothing broken down, just a flat fee. So she called. No answer. She emailed, waited 3 days... no answer. She called again, no answer, and left a message. When they finally got back to us we were told it was this much because we were being charged for a "whole service package" including a 1 year warranty. We declined and asked repeatedly how much the warranty was, and how much the service was. They literally COULD NOT answer this. We kept asking for a simple breakdown of fees. She kept evading the question and finally just agreed to refund "$300 for the warranty". Still never got a straight answer"

"This was amazing! I had no idea this service existed. After searching and contacting various repair places for my washer, this was the most cost effective option. I figured if it didn't work, my machine is old and I would be out $40, not the $100+ to have a tech come out and just diagnose the problem. I am pretty handy and my washer is old anyway, so if it is broken, I have to get a new one anyway. My tech, Steve, was great! He predicted what was wrong after listening to the machine, calmly walked me through dismantling the machine and when we got down to the motor, he was right! He sent me a link to the part I would need, and let me know to contact them again if I needed help installing it. My machine works even better than before it broke, its beautifully quiet and efficient. I will definitely be saving this company for any future repairs on appliances I may need. The service was $40 + the part cost, which was about $8."

"I have been trying to receive a quote, not even have the job scheduled, and it has been two months since first contact, and one month since an on-site inspection, only to be told they cannot provide me a quote for a shed and fence. Don't rely on Heritage Builders to communicate and be upfront with you during the process."

"Scott arrived shortly after the start of the time window, he quickly assessed the issue and started working. Quickly, he fixed both toilets and even cleaned up afterwards. There was a little water on the floor in one of the bathrooms, and Scott took the time to retrieve a shop vac and clear the floor. When he was done, he reviewed the repairs and we inspected both toilets to make sure I was happy that the issues had been addressed. Although this is the quality that I have come to expect from D and I (always excellent), it’s always nice when your expectations are met."

"PSA: DO NOT PURCHASE ANY HOME WARRANTYS! If you are purchasing a home and the seller is offering a covered home warranty, DO NOT TAKE IT! Instead, request for the seller to pay you the cash value of the home warranty(the seller is already going to purchase it as apart of the sale). Home Warranty's do not cover the parts/systems that commonly fail in appliances, so you're paying someone to diagnose an issue to find out that it is not covered. Take the cash for the price of any Home Warranty that is offered during the purchase of a home, and in general, don't purchase home warranty's, you do not benefit from them, only the company does."

"I ordered a part from this company for my dryer. They claim: 2 Day Quick Delivery! 365 Day Return Policy! Free Tech Support! I returned the unused part in their own packaging and they refused to provide a refund! Apparently, there's some hidden small print in their return policy that if you open the box and touch the product, that item is no longer eligible for a refund. They claim that the part showed signs of installation such as scuff marks. I asked for the part to be sent back to me for inspection by other professionals, but they refused because they disposed of the part. I've never encountered with such a scam company as this one and advise all to stay away from their misleadings! Good luck trying to get a refund from them, you're not getting one."
