"I was having some issues with water coming into the basement through the foundation and walls during rainy weather. Not flooding, or even shop vac-able volumes, just enough to be annoying and require mopping. Dominic and his crew were here today to install an under-floor drainage system and a new sump pump. I was dreading the demo (I have a concrete floor) and the mess involved, but these guys came prepared for everything! They used dust abatement measures to protect all my basement-stored items, and they removed and hauled all the debris away when finished with the excavation. What really impressed me was the concrete restoration upon completion. I've previously had a sewer line replaced through the basement floor, and the contractor really "botched" the floor repair. I can't describe how different this experience was! The concrete installed today is immaculate! Dominic takes pride in his work and with good reason! The new concrete is perfect! I am thrilled!"

"Dan and his team were both efficient and knowledgeable. They installed a french drain sump pump and made repairs to our footings at our residence three years ago and not a drop of water since then! "My husband and I came across 7th State Builders online. Eddie came out to our home for our initial consultation. He was punctual and professional. He listened to our vision and took the time to draw out a plan and explain the process. He was very knowledgeable and made some great suggestions. We decided to do a big project at our home. For the back: a rebuild and waterproofing of our previous deck and a large patio to go underneath it with a fire pit and sitting wall. The front of our house needed some repairs so we had them redo our sidewalk in the same patio pavers from the back. The whole area in front of our garage was cut out and they put in new concrete and leveled it out. They rerouted our gutters to prevent flooding as the previous design was doing damage to our foundation. The owner, Chase, was very hands on and kept us updated the whole time. He frequently made sure we were happy with the way things were going. The whole team made this project an enjoyable experience. "We were having problems with water leaking into the basement along the cinder block wall perimeter and began to have pooling there and at the garage door entrance to the basement. We contacted several companies for an estimate to fix the problem. S & S was the company offering the best solution. S & S did a very professional job in completing a inside drainage trench system with sump pumps. Steve worked with us to work out the details to our satisfaction in contract form. The process was explained as the work progressed. The crew were efficient and courteous. Work was completed in a reasonable time and good quality materials were used. "The work they did was OK, if we had a small basement issue.  Unfortunately, we had a large issue.
However, there was really only one person doing 90% of the work.  The work he completed was satisfactory.  As for the other guys on the crew, they were either doing "go for" work or no work at all.  The one guy doing no work was supposedly doing "mold remediation."  He was just taking a sponge and wiping a wall.
The owner was knowledgeable, but not really hands on.  He would check on the work that the one guy did.
As I mentioned before, they didn't complete the job upon my request.

Our front steps were unevenly spaced with an almost 10" drop to the first step.  Mr. Langhorne explained how they would bring the steps into code and keep them from separating from the porch again.  His sons arrived on time and completed the job in one day as promised.  Something that was not planned for, but turned out to be unavoidable was the fact that the railing needed to be removed, as the angle was now wrong.  Not to worry a call was made to a guy who could assist with the iron work to replace the hand rail.

Caution tape was posted around the steps so no one would walk in wet concrete.  They not only cleaned up our yard but also replaced the grass divots removed before the steps were poured.  We are very satisfied with the work and will definitely use Langhorne Concrete services in the future.
