"We've owned our home for just over two years, and we have worked with Wilber's on several occasions now. I want to write to whole-heartedly recommend them. Enthusiastically. We've had them do smaller jobs like repairing some of our plaster walls in places that were beyond our ability, rebuilding porch posts that were rotten, and installing lattice around the porch. Recently we started a renovation of our garage -- which will involve replacing windows, repairing siding, and the largest part, completely replacing the roof. I'm writing this review after one of their teams just finished the new roof. I cannot speak highly enough about the professionalism of everyone we've worked with from Wilber's. Work areas are tidy. Work moves efficiently while attention to detail is totally maintained. The roofing foreman communicated with us throughout the job -- making sure we talked through any choices that had to be made. In those conversations, he was always clear and patient. I also have to say the same for Erick Granados who has been our point person on all of the jobs we've done with them. Erick's a pleasure to work with. Total pro. Direct about choices, costs and tradeoffs. The day we started work on the garage, we actually had a mishap -- which was that the foreman had ordered shingles that were close to what was on the house (IKO shingles) but not identical. When we realized the issue, we hit that point you sometimes reach contractors -- where something isn't quite right, and fixing it will require time and effort... and therefore expense... on behalf of the company. Erick and the roofing foreman simply made it right. No tension, no run around -- just made it right. I appreciate that so much. They just asked for the name of the shingles on the house, and before I knew it, someone came to get the other shingles, and brought the right ones within a few hours. The work itself on all of the work we've contracted Wilber's for has been terrific. Also want to mention, there's tons of little things contractors can do -- just to be helpful and great. For example, the crawl space in our garage was filled with random stuff. Barrels, dairy crates, coolers, old dish racks. It's the kind of thing that isn't in a contract, but the guys carefully brought it all down, and helped us sort out and set aside anything we'd want to keep. In the middle of the job, I pulled out shelving units in the garage from the previous owner, and when the team cleaned up the site -- which they did quickly and thoroughly -- they loaded all of that shelving wreckage (lots of it), into the dump truck. Once we complete this work on our garage, this will be the third project we've done with Wilber's. I have every expectation that they'll be our first call on the various work we'll need to do going forward."

"Ryan is an excepional contractor. We have had a lot of work done over the years and he is one of the best. Always on time, responsive, good at communication, and a pleasure to work with. Ryan discovered an issue with our engineering plans and had it rectified. His subcontractors were all great. All town inspections went well and were immediately approved. Indigo is the company I will be using in the future."

Customers say: Quality work

"They have become like family! During the last 20 years they have done many projects on our main home as well as our beach house. Kitchens, all of the bathrooms, the entire first floor and second floor of our main home, and the first floor of the shore home. All of the projects over the years were met with the same commitment and professionalism that anyone would expect. The entire team including the sub-contractors were pleasant, hard working, skilled, and extremely neat, there was never a mess to deal with. Inspectors not only passed his work consistently, but many remarked on the high quality of the work. In more than one instance he has worked for those inspectors. We just recently discussed a project on a lake home were purchasing in the spring. Over these years we have seen all of the work he is completed, too many to mention but every one of them came out amazing. Their list of references are many and each one is impeccable. We have recommended them to our friends, and our friends have recommended them to their friends . They do amazing work, and treat each project as if it were their own home. Great company, Great team!!"

"A bathroom remodel can be an intimidating task. Most contractors provide an estimate from photos which feels impersonal. Vincent was one of the first contractors to reach out and who actually appeared in person to provide a guided proposal for work. His team consistently showed up on time as scheduled, were courteous, and left my home clean after each day. I am happy with the completed work and would recommend him and his team."

"They are not local to my area. Please, hire local. And this is for Angi: Try not to recommend contractors who are a significant distance away, in this case around 80 miles (and 2 states) away. Great website, appears to be professionally designed and maintained, I like what they do (judging from the content in the website) but I am outside their service area. I don't live in that area. If I owned a home or apartment in that area, I would hire them."

"My wife and I were on a tight schedule after purchasing our first home. We were moving to NJ from the city and had limited time to renovate our home due to our apartment lease expiration. Lima Contracting was able to complete all of our task list and MORE in the amount of time that other contractors said they could not. Lionel, Rob and their crew worked tirelessly to make our first home perfect for us. After the 2-month job was completed, we couldn't have been happier. The house that we bought was gone and what was left, was ours. <br />"

"Dynamic Contracting &amp; Development did an outstanding job on finishing our basement. This was our first time doing a project at this scale and admittedly did not know what to expect. Valmir (project manager) was easy to communicate with and was extremely knowledgeable and patient with our many questions. He worked directly with the city on our behalf to gain the permits and to make sure we were in code. The initial proposal from Valmir was detailed and transparent but if you&#39;ve never done something like this before, be sure to ask questions to gain as much clarity as possible. The only small critique that I have is we were originally told the project was going to take approximately 8-10 weeks but it ended up being more like 12 weeks. That&#39;s not to knock the company but only to say that reno isn&#39;t an exact science so patience is required when undergoing something like this. There were multiple reasons why the project lasted longer than anticipated. At the end of the day, we couldn&#39;t be more pleased with the results. We look forward to working with them again for more projects in our home."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Warren, NJ

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
