"I can not recommend this contractor. Contracted to do repair on tub (had chips). Paid a deposit and was unable to get response from Contactor after that. No answer on phone or text. Contact was made only after the Angi Compliant department offered to reach out to Contractor which I took them up on. Contactor was consistent in missing dates committed to following up on work. I believe he tells you what he believes what you would want to hear. Did a very poor job of taping around the tub so I have a mess around the tub. Committed to coming back to fix and has not returned any calls. He is charming and smiles but I found him to lack integrity and a sense of professionalism of his work. Unless you are ready to learn to do repair of his work or hire another contractor to fix his work I recommend you avoid. Do not give final payment on his word he will come out in a couple days and do clean up. Left messages week ago giving him chances to fix before I posted. No response."

There were several delays that we were not informed about unless we called to ask. Took 7 months before they showed up to begin project. Only 1 person was sent to build steps. Took a week. Hard worked, hardly took a break. Had to call again to see when they would come to pour patio. Never knew when they were coming, they just showed up. Hardly spoke with the homeowners. Inspection paperwork was just left on porch. Additional paperwork that is "required by the County" had to be completed by homeowner and taken to Court house to be notarized and filed and also provide a copy back to Long Fence. Time sensitive materials which added to homeowners to-do list. Gave this contract to LF on the surface of their history and appearance of a 'good local company' but should have stayed with original contactors in VA. Puddle of water forms when it rains"
