"We were extremely happy with the work Valor did for us. The mold remediation was a bit and disruptive process, but Valor helped us make it as easy as possible. They were helpful in identifying the problem and going over what could be done to fix it as well as being very clear up front about how the scope of the project could increase once drywall was removed and the mold situation in the ceiling could be seen more clearly. They did excellent work and were professional and flexible about getting the work done. David, the company's owner, is also extremely helpful in explaining how mold problems can develop. I should also note that this company does not use chemical treatments that have health concerns and may allow mold to grow back but instead remove moldy drywall (or carpet etc) and sand and/or soda blast the mold out of wood and concrete. The second project (the roof) was harder to manage because it had to be coordinated with a roofer because we replaced the moldy roof decking along with the remediation in the attic. Valor again was extremely professional and helped us find a roofer (who was also excellent!) with the necessary experience to work seamlessly with the mold remediation team. The mold remediation is a big, intimidating, and expensive job, but Valor made it a lot easier than it could have been."

"Precision Painting proprietor Drew Southard, who performed the work in my condo, was responsive, professional, conscientious, and skilled. He came to my home to quote the job several days in advance, purchased the paint using the color numbers I had given him, and showed up promptly to do the work (the Monday after the flood!) after calling to confirm. The wallpaper turned out to be very difficult to remove, but Drew was meticulous and persistent. The first day, he removed all the wallpaper, repaired the drywall, and began painting. It quickly became apparent to us both that the paint was much darker than it was supposed to be. He stopped painting to resolve this problem, which was not his error but still required him to make a second trip to the paint store. The second day, he completed the dining room painting and did a terrific job - it looks absolutely wonderful. He was also planning to do the ceiling repair work that day, but he couldn't because the man I'd hired to replace the fixtures had postponed due to the flood. Drew was very accommodating and offered to come back to fix the ceilings whenever it was convenient for me - which, as it turned out, was almost a month later. The ceiling repair and painting around the two light fixtures look great, too. Next on my wish list are my bathroom and kitchen, and Precision Painting is already working on those quotes!"
