"Greg did an exceptional job. He was incredibly responsive and meticulous in his work. He was well-prepared and knew exactly what to do. Moreover, he took the time to clean up after the job, which is a crucial detail. I will definitely hire him again! He installed the TCL 65-inch NXTVISION Frame TV in my bedroom."

"Overall, my appliance (Samsung Refrigerator - water/ice maker inop) works now following International Appliance's visit. They quickly responded to my online request, ordered the replacement part, and were back the next workday for the repair. The part ended up being a contributing factor, but the issue was far more complicated than just a replacement part. The tech assessed the situation and had to run to the local hardware store to buy additional parts to remedy my issue (he had to run a new water line to my refrigerator as the old one was clogged and non-recoverable). He completed all repairs and left me with a functioning refrigerator. Only two issues I have which kept me from giving more stars was the payment App they used and the service fee. I paid via an App on the tech's phone (I believe it was PayPal). The App took a picture of my credit card and charged me (not the company) a $6 usage fee every time I made a payment. Since it was two separate days of work, there were two separate payments, which meant $12 in App usage fees that I paid, and not the business. I was only made aware of these fees at the completion of the day's work. I would recommend the company re-look their payment process and not charge the customer the App usage fee (or at least be upfront about it). The labor/diagnosis fee ended up being $139. The only price they ever quoted was a $50 service fee. $139 seems to be fairly standard among the appliance repair companies I contacted, and most are up front about it, but this company never quoted that fee (before or during the repair process, just at the final bill). Again, the work was completed in a timely manner and my appliance is now functioning. The tech was friendly and responsive, so overall a good experience."

"Initially, we requested assistance for dishwasher repair of Quick Fix Appliance Services LLC via Angie's List. When we received no reply from Quick Fix Appliance Services LLC after nearly 2 weeks, we assumed they were neither interested nor very professional. When Angie's List asked us to review Quick Fix Appliance Services LLC, we flunked them ("F"s). A week later, and after someone else (not contacted thru Angie's List) had repaired our dishwasher, we finally received a reply from Quick Fix Appliance Services LLC via Angie's List messaging, expressing their interest in our job. I phoned Quick Fix Appliance Services LLC who claimed that they had received our initial request after a considerable delay ("a software problem resulted in communication delays"). While I cannot "undo" my initial Angie's List review of Quick Fix Appliance Services LLC, I can offer this updated correction, applauding Quick Fix Appliance Services LLC for reaching out to me in spite of the delay. I note their interest and will contact them again for any future appliance repair needs. The sincerity & contrition Quick Fix Appliance Services LLC demonstrated in its phone conversation with me earns them the benefit of the doubt and a pass in this instance."

"Justin arrived on time for our scheduled appointment. He quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the circuit board. He advised me to call him if there were any further problems. The next day I experienced the same temperature control issues that prompted my original call. I called Justin and a second appointment was scheduled. On the second visit, Justin replaced an additional part and everything has been fine since. I am happy with the work that Justin performed and would certainly recommend him to others."

"I contacted Schuyler because he had successfully repaired the oven in my gas range two years ago after another company botched the repair and overcharged me. This time I contacted him because my dishwasher was leaking and one of the burners on my gas range had ceased to ignite, despite repeated cleanings. Schuyler came to my house at the appointed time and quickly diagnosed the problems. He warned me that it could take up to two weeks to receive a part from Bosch, the dishwasher manufacturer, and indeed it did. As soon as he received both parts (the rubber seal for the dishwasher and the gas burner), Schuyler contacted me and made an appointment to come to the house to install them. He was on time for the appointment, and he worked quickly and efficiently. He is highly professional, very courteous, and very skilled. He is my first choice whenever I need a repair to a major appliance."

"Pat was very responsive to my message and within a couple of days he was at the house repairing the appliances. He also conducted additional inspections and suggested I change the dryer's vent hose. When I asked why he showed me and I am glad I went ahead with the replacement."

"I?ve had them since I moved in here for my air conditioning and heating system. I?ve been here for 2 ? years. The only problem was them diagnosing the exact problem, it took them 4 or 5 times that they came out before they figured out what was wrong. I have a contract with them, so it basically didn?t cost me anything even if they came 10 times. They came right away and they were concerned about trying to figure out what was wrong. It was an intermittent problem, so that was the reason they couldn?t figure it out completely. With the service contract, it didn?t really cost me anything more."

FAQs for appliance (major electric appliance) installation and replacement projects in Waterford-works, NJ

A pro starts by setting the units in place and connecting them to the right plumbing lines, electrical circuits, and, for the dryer, a vent. If the hookups already exist, the job is quick. When they don’t, the installer must add plumbing, outlets, or a vent run, which takes more time and increases the price, especially when the laundry area is located far from existing utilities.

You’ll need the right pros for a tight stacked setup. A natural-gas plumber handles the water lines, drain, and any gas work, while an electrician installs the circuit the dryer needs. If venting or framing changes are required, hire a general contractor to patch the drywall or adjust the framing so that everything meets code and operates safely.

Permanent models need complete plumbing, electrical, and—for dryers—vent hookups. Portable units skip most of that and can run on a standard outlet with a temporary water connection. If your home already has a code-approved hookup, you just connect the new appliances. If not, hire a licensed pro to add the lines and vent so the machines run safely and efficiently.

Relocating a hookup costs between $500 and $5,000, as it may involve installing new outlets, gas lines, vents, and drain pipes. The price increases when the new location is far from existing utilities or requires additional framing and drywall work. Have licensed professionals evaluate your layout, provide a quote for the move, and handle the installation so that every component meets code and works safely.
