"We had not had our carpet cleaned for many years, during which time we had a dog and two cats, and the carpets were quite dirty. Positives: The technician did a good job getting the dirt. The carpets look much better. I appreciate that he called me at the beginning of our time window (10:00 a.m.) and told me that he thought he would not arrive until about 11:00. It was a slightly later than that because he was unable to start his truck and had to get a jump. When he arrived, he apologized for being later than he had anticipated. Overall, he was very courteous. The carpets do not have the residue that I have experienced with other carpet cleaners, nor the chemical odor. When the technician arrived, he was surprised at the amount of carpet that had to be cleaned and was initially quite stressed about the fact that he did not think he could get the carpet cleaned before his next scheduled job. (In the future, I will take the time to measure the carpeted areas and provide an estimate of total square footage. I do not fault Clean Green for the misunderstanding.) I called Clean Green and explained the issue, the technician’s schedule was adjusted, and that solved the issue. I appreciate the helpfulness of the woman I spoke with at Clean Green. She called the technician immediately after I talked with her and made the necessary scheduling change. Negatives: I wish I had known the technician would not move any furniture. I had asked ahead of time whether he would, and I was told he would be working alone, and therefore could move only chairs. (My experience with prior cleaners is that a crew of two would be used, they would move most of the furniture, and they would place the furniture on wooden coasters so that the furniture would not bleed onto the carpet.) Unfortunately, the technician did not move any furniture. I hurried to move as much as I could but because the technician began spraying all the rooms with cleaner, I did not complete moving the furniture before he started. I moved the heavy furniture, assuming he could move the few chairs and small tables, which I had cleared. He did not, so there were several areas that were not cleaned, the most obvious of which was an area under a table and chair. One of our cats had thrown-up under the table. By moving the (wooden) chair, that area could have been cleaned. It was not. The carpet took significantly longer to dry than I had expected based on Clean Green’s advertising. Drying time was similar to previous cleaners, about 24 hours. Most importantly, the technician left a wet rag on one of the runners of our 200+ year old rocking chair. Unfortunately, we did not see the rag until that evening. We removed it and I wiped off the runner, but it has water damage the width of the rag. Overall: I would consider using Clean Green again, but I would clarify the amount of carpet to be cleaned, move furniture ahead of time, and pay more attention to the technician’s actions."

"There was a problem when pulling painters tape off of baseboard as it peeled off paint in places, but not sure the source of that problem. (Stripper, baseboard paint or blue painter's tape??)  Important thing is the very next day to guys showed up to sand and repaint base boards like new so I am happy. Sometimes these things happen and have to do with chemistry of stripper and paint and primer on baseboard etc, so I would still use them again.  Suggest they do some lab experiments to figure out cause of this problem. Also some confusion on my part about moving furniture back next day, so i had to do myself and placed towels under big pieces and dragged them which did leave track marks on finish. So find someone to help you move heavy pieces and pick them OFF the floor.  They also used CLEAN mops unlike previous company whose mops left lots of hairs, debris under the floor seal which could be seen.  Overall, a much better floor seal product.... a softer sheen instead of blinding "wet shine" look which was blinding when sun shined on the black floor.  <br />"

"This is a follow-up to a previous review in which I conveyed a poor experience. Ultrasteam followed up and addressed the situation to my satisfaction. The follow-up was much appreciated, they appear to have done a great job during this second visit. Paul and Ron came out in February to assess the problem areas of the original color seal areas. They hold firm to the assessment that the grout was in bad shape in those specific areas. They repaired the actual grout in the problem areas and re-applied color seal. Beyond that they cleaned the grout lines in the entire room and properly blended the color seal so that all grout lines are uniform. They went above and beyond today, time will tell on the durability for my particular experience but as I told Paul and Ron, I am perfectly happy to pay them for their time and services which extend beyond the scope of the original color seal job, which I believe repairing the actual grout was. They refused payment. I'm certainly happy with how the problem was (finally) handled, my only complaint was that it took a long time to get to this point. Ron and Paul both seem like gentleman who care about their work and the perception of their work by their customers. The visit today was very much appreciated. Based on their approach on the visit today and the conversations we had, I would consider hiring them in the future."
