"Josh was fantastic to work with on a major renovation to address a serious water leak. He was very communicative throughout the entire process, had a strong work ethic, and clearly cared about doing the job right. We?re extremely satisfied with the quality of work and would highly recommend Refuge Restoration."

"4 yrs ago they sub contracted a flooring guy who installed flooring incorrectly?.the flooring is cracking but because of faulty installation the warranty is voided. Steve at Kephas was responsible for prepping that floor before installation?..flooring guy was pissed they didn?t have it ready so just made due. Poor attention to detail here folks Now they take no responsibility and we?re screwed. Product warranty won?t cover faulty installation Watch for more posts folks?"

"As a part-time landlord with four rentals, I do not have the time or the expertise to make repairs on the houses. A friend introduced me to Shawn at Georgia Construction Consultants five years ago and he has quickly moved up on my speed dial. He has replaced siding, repaired roofs, replaced windows and screens and has done general wood carpentry on both the exterior and interior of all of the houses. <br /> Shawn is easily accessible and has no surprises in his pricing/estimates. His work is professional and timely. His suggestions have saved me time and money which is very important to the success of my business. <br /> I would recommend using Georgia Construction as I plan on continuing to use them in the future! <br />"

"Work somewhat delayed because of the rain. Can't expect paint to dry if it's raining. The workers did a great job. Went above & beyond what I requested: they wiped down the ceiling to eliminate mold, power washed wicker tables, carefully removed the porch swing to avoid paint splatters, & tucked canvas under all spots being painted."

"Thor is the best.  I was out of town for the second half of the project and the project turned into more than he or I bargained for.  He handled everything brilliantly and I trusted him to do a great job.  When I got back I was blown away by the quality of their work. The house is a really unusual mid century modern that the other contractors who came by for quotes were completely scared of...some of them didn't even get back to me. This place was in Really Really bad shape with a large amount of wood rot, structural issues, and come to find out during the repairs...a large amount of termite damage. Thor and his guys totally saved the house.  Now that the project is over...I couldn't have imagined picking anyone else.  The work was top notch, the price was more than fair, and Thor is a great guy!!!  Don't waste your time with anyone else! <br />"

"Outstanding contractor! Great work, reasonable price, very responsive. Would use them in the future also if needed without even getting other quotes. They were the lowest of three quotes I obtained and did a great job."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Watkinsville, GA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
