"Level Headed Mudjackers was super! Sam, Marty and Dale were very prompt getting me a couple of estimates and adjusting what was covered, following up several times to answer questions I had. Sam and Marty who did the actual mudjacking were fantastic... on time, very pleasant, and fun to bounce questions off of. They cleared lawn overgrowth by the sidewalk slabs, and made my driveway a dream when pulling into the garage now. No more bumps and tripping hazards from all the unevenness. Shoveling show now will be a breeze. I would rehire them in a heartbeat if I needed anything more done! Thank you guys for a job well done!"

"Dave was great to work with. He answered calls and emails quickly. The work began when promised, His wife returned to color the concrete, and she also came when promised. She even helped me pick out the colors to use. The patio looks fantastic!"

"They came promptly and worked diligently for 2 hours to level our driveway, front walkway and patio. They spent extra time leveling the patio to make sure I no longer have to worry about ice forming on it during the winter and draining toward the house in spring or when it rains hard. Very good job and all surfaces to be guaranteed for 3 years. I would highly recommend them to anyone."

"I had another contractor provide a concrete pad in front of a new garage. They had quoted the concrete driveway as well, which was to be done later. When it came time to do the driveway, the price increased by 50% so I searched for a replacement. <br /> I found Johnson Demolition and Concrete (JDand C) during my search. The quote they provided was for the drive was very near the original price I had received from my first contractor. I gave the work to JDand C. The price and service was outstanding. The speed of the service was surprising. They came when promised, finished when promised and provided more service than expected. I was extremely impressed with the firm and hope that others use them to keep the firm growing and providing services for many years to come. OUTSTANDING!!!!"

"These guys did a fantastic job. We had some significant sinking on our driveway and were listing the house for sale. They came out and fixed everything up marvelously. I could not believe how smooth the driveway was when they finished. Would absolutely work with them again."

"For the most part, I was happy with them. They were flipping the house next door to me and that was how I knew about them but then I saw them on your site. There was just one thing. When they rebuilt my porch, there were a couple of boards that were higher than the others and they said that they would come out and fix it but of course I had to wait for them. But otherwise, they were a nice group of guys. They seemed to be very professional and I was impressed with the work that they were doing next door. They were hard workers and they did not let up. They were very friendly and their pricing was pretty fair but the boards were noticeable right away so to me, it should have been replaced right away. They had a lot of jobs going so it was a little difficult to get a hold of them sometimes but when they were working on my job, they were here on time. I possibly would use them again in the future although now that I have found another contractor, I would certainly lean towards him. They are not a bad company, it is just that the other contractor is better."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Waukesha, WI

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
