"We had a very small roof area need to be repaired. I sent request to multiple company to give a service quote. Few of them sent me replies and stated that they are too busy to come. Matt of MMP Consturction's contacted me promptly, scheduled an on-site visit and gave us a quote right away. The work was then scheduled and finished quickly. Matt did great job on reaching out, effective communication, and always arriving on-time. He also gave an evaluation on our roof condition. Also, Eric and Don did excellent job on finishing the project. They are all very polite, knowledgeable, and showed their professionalism. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Matt and his crew. We are very grateful for having them arriving on-time before the winter storm to prevent potential damage of the house. From their react, we see a warm heart. No job is big or small, all jobs are equally important. Understanding the difficulties of others, for the people, been appreciated by the people. Thank you again for your high quality service. We definitively recommend MMP Construction Inc. to anyone for any related home project."

"As above...simply marvelous. Eduardo is extremely neat, always cleaning up when done and placed materials and tools away properly. I had originally met Eduardo three years ago when my sliding glass doors needed replacing and ceilings, closets etc. needed painting. His English, at first, was difficult but since that time, he has vastly improved along with his personal talents and experience as a professional. His carpentry skills and his inbred abilities to do most anything are outstanding. He completed work (counters, seating, flooring etc) in my daughter's Cafe in ample time and nicely done for her grand opening. He's hung closet doors, sliding doors, installed faucets, exhaust fans. He's done some plumbing, tiling, a full shower with built in seat, interior and exterior house painting, rake boards, trim, a bit of electrical work, etc. He's repaired, retaped and painted several ceilings. He has replaced all of the rotted boards hither and yon throughout my property; from the front and back porches and decks, to the shed, to the front stairs to the trim around doors, windows etc. Eduardo, most importantly, is honest and trustworthy and, I must say, most respectful...always. I would not and did not hesitate to leave my doors open when I was out. My home was open for him. He takes pride in his work and has quietly done many extra things that have surprised me so. Example; my trash barrels have been brought in for me, my garden tools or hoses have been picked up for me. Saw dust, debris, dust and dirt have all been cleaned away. He is a good person, a hard worker, and is fairly priced. I would recommend him at any time. You may speak to me personally if you wish further information. He would have my number. I truly, truly, appreciate everything that he has done for me. Work still needs doing and he diligently is working on my list: fieldstone walls that need rebuilding, smoke detectors needing replacing, attic vent fan replacement, wallpaper removal, more interior painting, some high hedge trimming, mulching, edging etc. etc. etc. He will shine at anything and everything that you need doing. "We can’t say enough good things about Bob Phalen. He was timely in responding to inquiries and very honest and thorough in appraising our home repairs . His work is exceptional and his pricing very reasonable . He will be our go to person from now on ."

"When we started looking for a contractor on Angie's List, we were skeptical that we could find someone who could do three things: being within our budget, easy to communicate with and making sure that the final product was of high quality. We had a big project (renovating two bathrooms, renovating a kitchen, taking down a wall, removing wood paneling from multiple rooms, remodeling our basement, including removing asbestos tile from the whole basement, whole house interior painting, remodeling the laundry room, installing new light fixtures everywhere, etc) and Sanfer ended up being the perfect contractor for us. He was so easy to get in touch with and he did a great job keeping us updated on the project as it was coming along (we weren't living there at the time). While the project ended up going over the original budget we set, we also added multiple projects along the way that Sanfer was able to accomplish. The other thing we truly appreciated is that Sanfer has a true eye for quality and was able to ensure everything was exactly to our standards -- the tiling, the painting, even the installation of our new doorknobs. He even brought certain things up to us to help make the home more secure and prevent future damage (putting up stronger supports under our deck, fixing the flashing around the chimney) that he didn't need to do. When a few things needed to be fixed after the renovations were complete, he wasted no time in sending someone out to do the repair. Sanfer was so nice, honest, and enjoyable to work with, things we were not expecting to find in our general contractor but which made the whole renovation experience that much more positive. We would absolutely recommend him and his crew to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy contractor who will do a high-quality job for a fairly reasonable price."

"My apartment needed a fresh coat of paint and repairs to a few large holes after construction. Crystal painting was easy to work with and my apartment looked like new within a few short days. They took extra time to protect my furniture and the paint came out flawless. I highly recommend and will be using them again."

"As a testament to how happy we were with our first renovation provided by the Curtice Group in 2021, which provided completely new kitchen/dining/mudroom/bath, we hired Scott and his team again in 2024-25 for another major renovation. This job was composed of 3 main parts: a gut remodel of our main bathroom, renovation of a large attic space (about 700 sq ft), and whole-home conversion from steam radiators (gas) to heat pumps including removal of all radiators and a chimney. The bathroom now is attractive and more functional, the attic adds a large amount of useful space as an office/kid room/guest area, and central air makes a more comfortable climate. I’m a big fan of the design/build concept, because you really don’t want to separate those two elements into different contractors, and if you find a talented company, they can handle all aspects of the job fluidly. Scott Curtice has a real knack for design, he is attentive and cares about details, and he will perform carpentry and touch-up work as needed. Moreover, he handled all the project coordination so that we could do the jobs that we do well, which do not include home renovation."

"Rob has done just about everything for me, from building and helping to design a "ground-up" 1,000 sq-ft addition, to custom building a four-season porch, and redesigning a small bathroom, down to simple "fix-it" jobs. I can always rely on Rob to price the job fairly and honestly, have a sharp eye for detail and quality, and maintain a clean and professional working environment. He is easy to "spitball" ideas with and has often told me when an idea wasn't worth pursuing -- an admirable trait amongst construction professionals who are incentivized to keep adding work. If you appreciate an "old school" guy with subs who he and his father have known for years, then Rob is your man."

"We hired Richard to finish our basement and it was a pleasure working with him and his team from start to finish. When we moved into our house, we immediately knew we wanted to finish our basement. To do this, we also knew that we had to deal with our old, not to code, basement stairs. When contractors came to give quotes, most told us that the stairs would be an issue, and one contractor even told us it was impossible (and that it wasn’t worth finishing the basement). Richard not only provided us with a solution for moving the stairs, but he also spent his own time meeting with the town building inspector to go over his proposed plans before giving us a full quote and signing a contract with us. This kind of forward thinking helped us to feel comfortable hiring him to complete the work. It is also worth noting that even though Richard was the only contractor whose quote included moving the stairs, it was very competitive being neither the cheapest nor the most expensive. Throughout the basement remodel, Richard and his team were very communicative and quick to respond to our questions, comments, or concerns. They listened to our ideas and always had great ideas for how to either make what we wanted happen or to propose improvements on what we were thinking about. In the end, Richard helped us to build the basement that we wanted, and today we have a beautiful basement, which includes a laundry room, a library space, and an open area for our kids to play. On top of all of this, we also have a new stairway and a new kitchen pantry where the old stairs were. The new stairs fit in seamlessly, almost like they’ve always been that way. We would gladly work with him again on a future project, and would definitely recommend him to others considering similar projects."

"Everything went well! Larry built new back steps to my home and also a new deck to my home. He is friendly and explains everything he is doing. I look forward to having him paint the exterior of my home and any other future projects."
