"The workers came on the appointed day with a longer ladder, as suggested.    Terry called to ask if he and an assistant could come by earlier than the original appointment time because they had finished work scheduled in the area earlier than expected; that certainly worked for me.    He surveyed the roof, took pictures and reattached a loose shingle that had fallen into the gutter.   Terry showed me the pictures of the roof from many angles; they showed no other repairs were necessary at this time.  Terry asked if there was anything else that required attention, but nothing else was immediately apparent.  He gave me his card and explained that the company does general contacting work.  
I am very impressed with the speed and efficiency shown today and won't hesitate to call MMP Construction in future if I need general contracting work done.

"As a testament to how happy we were with our first renovation provided by the Curtice Group in 2021, which provided completely new kitchen/dining/mudroom/bath, we hired Scott and his team again in 2024-25 for another major renovation. This job was composed of 3 main parts: a gut remodel of our main bathroom, renovation of a large attic space (about 700 sq ft), and whole-home conversion from steam radiators (gas) to heat pumps including removal of all radiators and a chimney. The bathroom now is attractive and more functional, the attic adds a large amount of useful space as an office/kid room/guest area, and central air makes a more comfortable climate. "Gil from NE carpentry did a lot of work for me. The most impressive was that Gil worked with me to repair my interior front porch after a massive leak during a storm destroyed it. Because my house is on the beach and very exposed, every other contractor declined the job. Gil and his team were very rigorous and patient and they did succeed in waterproofing the porch. They did rebuild it and did fantastic work. The team communicates well, is always on time, does a great job and always clean after the workday. Their prices are very fair and transparent.
