"We hired Simco to replace a toilet 2 years ago and the next day toilet started leaking. Don from Simco returned and fixed the problem which is why we decided to try him again now to replace faucet and valve in the tub/shower. We had to reschedule appointment as we had a death in the family and there was a problem getting back on Don’s schedule and getting him to show up, that was the first red flag. He replaced the valve and faucet and added shut offs to the shower pipes charging us $650, second red flag as I think that’s way more than it should be. Next morning my furnace wouldn’t turn on. We called a technician who does work on the side who has taken care of our furnace for years and he came over on Palm Sunday to see what was wrong. We never dreamed it was Don from Simco who cut the wires from the thermostat to the furnace when he was replacing our faucet the day before. Our furnace tech replaced the wiring and all was ok. We went to Simco Plumbing the next morning hoping Don would be professional and reimburse us the $400 for having the repairman come on a Sunday on an emergency call and having the wiring replaced, but he said we should have called him first (why would we call the plumber for our furnace????) and that he saw the wiring, didn’t know what is was and it made no sense to him so he cut them!! So after hiring him two times and having major problems both times and costing us financially I felt I had to try and let people know the poor quality of work and professionalism in this company!!"
