"Everything went well. Gary and his crew were great! They all treated me with respect and worked very hard. We're extremely happy with the deck. There are a few rough spots that I would've liked to get fixed, but what was done had to be done I guess. The only real problem I had, was the owner. I messaged him to see if the cosmetic repairs could be fixed. He bypassed everything I told him and made an excuse for the decks cosmetics. And questioned why I was calling 2 weeks later and complaining. Well we don't sit there 24/7. And of course sitting there, you notice little things that are imperfect. Yes, I did agree when I t was completed, to do an inspection myself, but again, you notice more, when you are actually sitting there. He did however, agree to fix what was wrong. However, I never received a warranty nor a written guarantee, for a $16,000 deck. If we need construction again, I would recommend asking for Gary and his crew, to do the job!! !"

"I first met Jodie while he was building a large room addition, residing, and re-roofing my brother's house. I was impressed with his knowledge and workmanship. He always strived to keep the customer happy and do the job right, whatever it took. I later hired Jodie to install two different types of laminate flooring in 5 rooms of my house. I couldn't believe it, but he was in and out in 3 days. Everything was perfect."

They were extremely prompt in responding to our request for a quote and quick to get us on their schedule. They made sure to keep us updated on the progress of the project and even shared photos of the floors each day. "It is a waste of money. The great majority of people are not going to find any value out of the service. If you need design consultation, you need a full service consultation. If you already have knowledge and experience, and you just need to get a few ideas, then you don't need to pay for that. You can just get a magazine or a book since you already have the knowledge of basic designs in your head or a little bit of experience. To have someone call you and give you information over the phone, you are not getting the personal service that you need. You may as well take the money $49 and apply it to something else like getting someone else to come out and give you the service that you need. Because, you are not getting much, you are not getting anything at all. They are going to have you do the work. After talking to them and I was talking to other home designers, I found out that that was a waste of time and waste of money. I gave them a C because they didn't fail at what they do but they don't offer any value for what they do. There's not much value to it. The cost was fair. They didn't do a terrible job and the cost isn't terrible, it was only $49. It just has a very low value. For responsiveness I gave them a B because they will answer your phone and answer your emails."

"We had a flight of stairs refinished as they were in rough shape and previously carpeted. Within a week of my sending a query and talking with Alzira, the project was complete! The worker who came out did an excellent job. He prepped/ sanded the stairs, attached new pine risers over the existing ones, stained the treads, painted the stringers, and sealed the treads with polyurethane. He even repaired some of our flooring transitions that were loose for a small fee."

"Very gifted carpenter/contractor., detailed oriented. Punctual,meticulous, and priced affordable. Very good personality to work with and focused on your results. I highly recommend him. Also, his knowledge of so many different components of building makes him a jack of all trades. So no matter what type of building, remodeling, etc. he can do it for you. If you call him and are able to get him to work for you( he is very busy) consider yourself lucky ð"

"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.  
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.
