"Seth came out first thing this morning, walked me through the process, got my ok on everything and then he and Tyler got started. Finished in no time! Job looks great, leveled the driveway pad leading into the garage and eliminated about a 2 to 3 in drop. Clean up was also very well done! Extremely pleased with the job as well as the price! Sethâ s and Tyler were very pleasant to work with as well. I 100% recommend them!"

"Tri-State recently provided a bid for my patio project. Their price was neither the lowest nor the highest, but what set them apart was the quality of their knowledge and the reasoning behind their recommendations. While several other contractors I found through Angie’s suggested simply pouring the concrete slab directly on the ground, Tri-State explained the importance of additional support beneath the patio. They recommended installing piers under the slab to help minimize future movement and settling. Their approach demonstrated a deeper understanding of structural integrity and long-term performance. It was clear that their team has a strong engineering and structural repair background. Since they also specialize in foundation and structural repairs, I felt confident in their ability to design and build a patio that would last. I’m very happy with my whole experience. Highly recommend!"

"Recently purchased 107 year old home.  One side of stone foundation had crumbling mortar joints and missing stones. Needed repaired and tuck pointed. Woody came out examined the foundation and masonry work and had an estimate with in one hour of getting my call.  Very knowledgeable about very old masonry work.  Work was completed in 2-3 days by himself and crew or 2-3.  Went to great pains not to damage neighbors newly stamped concrete walk between houses.  Clean up was very complete and the foundation looks brand new.  Definitely would hire again.  Does everything exactly as he says he will."

"Darryl and crew arrived when expected and kept in contact when rain or wind was a problem. They were professional, polite, and hard working. They were consistently concerned that we were happy and when pointing out one or two small things, they were very pleasant about making sure things were done to our satisfaction. This is rare in a contractor of any type. Darryl reminded me “you are paying us to paint your house”! Whoa, never heard those words come out of a contractors mouth before....I have heard plenty of “well we did this but if we have to do it again, you have to pay more” when contractors do things to THEIR satisfaction. Darryl and his crew are not those people. I would definitely use them again for other work. I had never met Darryl or heard of Dadstasks before searching Angie’s List....but am certainly glad I had them do our work. Oh, and by the way, did I mention how reasonably priced they are? A plus in my book after doing quality work!! Thanks Dadstasks!"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in West Chester, OH

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
