He replaced the rotting wooden trim around four of our windows, replaced sections of our siding which were in rough shape, fixed a soffit and fascia that were water-damaged due to a poorly set up gutter, and a few other smaller repairs. He was also very good about pointing out things that he found during the course of the work which were either done improperly before, or were a good idea to fix along with what else was being done. "This is a family owned and run business. The do very high quality work at a very competitive price. They will also stand by their work if there are any issues. I had a slight issue with my gutter install which I noticed after the first hard rain, probably a month after the job was complete, and they were out the next day to correct it. "Anderson and his crew did beautiful and thorough work on our exterior. We had several doors replaced, a back step re-built and the whole house prepped and painted. They were careful to sand, prep and replace any rotten boards; their prep work was a lot like "restoration" in many ways. They took their time to do quality work and were happy to add on a number of small interior projects in addition to the above mentioned exterior work. Our neighbors were all very complimentary about the work, too! The only reason I can't give a full five stars is that some of the interior work seemed more rushed and not completed with the same degree of care and thoroughness as the primary job. Start your search by calling Karol Kurkowski of KBK Construction and save yourself a lot of time. 9 times out of 10, he'll answer the phone! Who does that these days? Karol and/or Zibi were on site every day usually starting at 8:30am. Being an old house, nothing was square. It was necessary to pour a self-leveling concrete floor, which took a few days to dry. Even so, they completed the whole job, surprises and all, in under 2 weeks. Many people like tile. I'm not one of them. I wanted a MAAX 80" acrylic tub wall kit, from tub to ceiling. Who knew that it would be so difficult to find a contractor to install it? I'm so grateful that Karol agreed to and did a fine job. Besides doing quality work for a reasonable price, they were a pleasure to work with - always polite and conscientious, and cleaning up at the end of each day."
