I called Manwill Plumbing and was lucky enough to get a technician to come around to look at it on a Sunday for a $50, plus the diagnostic fee. He found the problem quickly - I needed a replacement blower motor and wheel. He explained the issue thoroughly along with what the fix would entail. Then he broke the bad news - they didn't have parts on hand and would have to order them. He apologized and promised Manwill would get them in as quickly as possible and he'd come back to install asap. Given the age of the air conditioner (and previous repairs for it), i was not surprised that the parts would need to be ordered. The technician kept his promise and returned to my house 5 days later to install the parts. He apologized again for the delay, and answered other questions that I had about my AC unit. "We have a contract with a homeowners appliance insurance company and when that company could not come to our house until next day after the A.C. quit over the weekend, Humphreys was available to take a look that morning that we called. Jason came out, and found the problem. We were afraid that our 15 year old a.c. was going to have to be replaced. Jason found that the capacitor needed to be replaced. He went after the part and in a short time had it installed and we were up and running. He was absolutely on time with the text that was sent and we were happy with his work and the quick service that we received since we are experiencing over 100 degree temps. We Have also decided that we will use Humphrey when we need a new unit.
