"I can’t say enough good things about working with Peter Harris. We had a construction emergency and Peter took care of it skillfully and efficiently. Just after we went under contract to sell a family member’s condo, a water leak ruined the flooring and some cabinetry throughout the home. Immediately we struggled to work with the insurance company and find a contractor. "The whole experience was very good. Being a widow, I appreciate the thoroughness which both Shane and JD used during this repair. They explained what they were doing and even showed pictures they had taken of the area and the lint they discovered. They replaced the belt, vacuumed out the lint within the area and checked my dryer hose, which I had recently replaced, for lint. They checked and cleaned the outside dryer exhaust area. They were both just great to deal with. I would definitely recommend them for their great service! Shane was not here the whole time, but left after the drum was removed and it was confirmed that it was the belt that needed replacing. I thought that was a great way to handle this so only one tech was here doing the majority of the job. Shane came back later to help reinserting the drum. They worked well as a team."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
