Based on the favorable reviews of other members, I called three providers at noon. Unlike the other two, owner Scott Martin returned my call within 20 minutes even, as I learned later, he was away on vacation. I explained my heater had burst and needed quick replacement. I brought up the possibility of installing a tankless heater. He asked about my household make-up and usage, and advised the extra expense would not be cost-effective. He is a Rennai Tankless dealer/installer! He said he might be able to get a technician available in 2 hours and would call me right back. He did, and we arranged for a 4 pm installation.

His tech, Michael called 15 minutes beforehand reporting a traffic delay and he arrived soon after 4. He was very professional and, working alone,  completed the removal and replacement by 7. He checked the connections, discovered a small leak, and fixed that. We had hot water that evening. Scott did not charge extra for an emergency call that ran over into the evening; and, he applied an additional discount for my having found him through Angie's List!

The next day I discovered another small leak, called Scott and Michael was there and had it fixed by 1 pm.

I can't thank Scott and Michael enough for their responsiveness and professionalism. THAT'S how to run...and grow... a business!

The service fee for just coming out to troubleshoot was inexpensive, which was greatly appreciated. For the installation of my water heater, their rates were competitive with other plumbers in the area. The service tech (Fletcher) was knowledgeable and explained everything in detailed. "The man that came out told me that he would not recommend flushing my water heater. I found it odd that they were offering that service if they don't recommend doing it. He seemed to know what he was doing and did a good job with the inspection. I also wanted him to switch my hook up from county water to well water. I had to pay extra for that, but that was fine."

"We had concerns with our air quality and especially mold. Mr. Lindsay came out - one of the few who responded, and when I say responded - it was as if I was texting with someone - quick answers, no flip flopping - straight up and honest. He came out - found our issues, recommended what was needed and nothing more while also informing us how to take care of some things (outside this scope of work) in a cost effective and proper method. When we were cleaning out the crawl space I noticed the water heater was leaking. One message to Mr. Lindsay and he was able to fit that into the effort at an awesome price! They showed up exactly on time - took the exact amount of time he stated initially and put everything back the way it was when completed. His crew was courteous and professional as was he. Mr. Lindsay didn't rush us at all and spent as much time as we needed to discuss anything we brought up - from shower replacement to AC units - anything at all he gave us the time. We have a few older pets with special needs, his understanding and compassion when we expressed our concerns with their well being was a breath of fresh air (pun intended). I had given up on some of the local folks after the years of getting messed over - Mr Lindsay restored my hope and left us feeling safer and extremely satisfied. "I called this provider after my water heater burst.  They were very professional and helpful.  Unfortunately, they were not going to be able to get out to do our replacement soon enough due to other commitments.  However, despite that, they told us exactly what we needed to tell another provider regarding our water heater and told us approximately how much the replacement should cost.  I thought it was great that they were willing to be so helpful even though they were not getting the business.  Though they did not do the work at our house, I would recommend them based upon their professionalism, helpfulness, and price quote over the phone.
