"I did some research & had a few estimates, all in the same ballpark. Nick impressed me with his enthusiasm for the job. We got together in a reasonable amount of time. We went over my idea, tossed a few others around, and came back to the original. Nick was very thorough in going over the needed materials for this 12 x 18 project: Ipe w needed stainless steel hardware, lighted steps, black metal railings, faux stone. The one mistake I made was not in reading the contract carefully, as sealing the porch was not included. The construction proceeded smoothly. I was really impressed with the new footings created and felt assured this front porch would be solid & last for many years to come. Nick listened to my preferred placing of the boards. The lighted steps were just what I had envisioned. Nick went "the extra mile" by not only applying the stone work around the new porch and garage foundation, but also to the remainder of the rest of the front. I would use Nick again, and would recommend him to my friends."

He and his team did an excellent job gutting and totally remodeling two bathrooms and a closet as well as redoing some of the wood flooring, moving vents, and moving hallways. He was extremely responsive in provided us with timely updates. When complications occurred (due to the house having not been renovated in 40 years) he was clear and helpful in keeping the project on schedule. "We hired Steven to redo our kitchen floor and install a countertop backsplash. Unfortunately, the project did not go as smoothly as planned. The workmen on the first day caused damage to an adjacent floor and did a poor job with the leveling. To Steven’s credit, he immediately acknowledged the problems and arranged, at his own expense, for the floor to be refinished and the leveling redone properly. What was supposed to be a three-day project stretched into months because of these complications, and during that time we often doubted his assurances that he truly wanted the work done right.
