He was able to start the job within the next week and upon first meeting him, was instantly likeable. He was professional but also easy to talk to and did everything I asked for the project. "The person doing the  quote came at the appointed time.  My house is a bi-level, so the roof is 1.5 stories up.  He only looked at it from the sidewalk and at first said, "You could use a new roof, but it probably has some life left in it."  Then as I was walking around the house with him, he found a piece of shingle on the ground and changed his tune, saying that this indicated that I definitely needed a new roof.  He never went on the roof to look at it, saying it wasn't necessary.  He measured the size by rolling a measuring device along the sidewalk. <br /> He reviewed available shingles with me, and gave me quotes for the cheaper 30-year Tamko ($3850 for the house, $1750 for the garage),  a mid-priced Owens Corning-Oakridge 50-year, and lifetime warranty GAF Timberline, at $4550 for the house and $1890 for the garage.  He also suggested what color would go well with my house. <br /> He was pleasant to deal with, and gave me the impression that his company would do well on the roof.  He was the first company I received a quote from.  The second was Neighborhood Roofing, and the third was Renaissance Roofing.  I ended up choosing Neighborhood Roofing because they did the most thorough investigation of the condition of the roof and what needed to be done, and they displayed the most knowledge about their product. <br /> I ended up using the color that was suggested by the representative from Imperial Roofing.  No one else discussed color as in-depth as this person did, though he convinced me of the best color so I didn't really ask about it from anyone else. <br />"

"They were excellent to work with! Our rep was John Pollex. He was out to our home twice to give us quotes and to help us with selecting the shingling type/color we went with. I don't have enough good things to say about Arnold's Home Improvement and their team of people. We interviewed many roofing companies for this job and from the quality of work, to financing, to customer service, to the type of warranties they provided, Arnold's was the best and made us feel comfortable with such a big home improvement project we were taking on! I look forward to using their services again in the future."

"Bruce arrived to start the job on time and is quite methodical, with everything going in the right order. He has the tools to do ANYTHING and completely filled our 2 car garage with tools, materials, cabinets, etc. Since everything was replaced, he had to use skills on so many levels, including dry wall, insulation, flooring, electrical, plumbing, granite work, painting, heating, etc. I think he truly excels at molding/trim work and the cabinet installing. Perfection. An example of true attention to detail: Since they had to cut into our floor joists (beneath the bathroom) to accommodate new drain systems, Bruce took it upon himself to find a local metal fabricator to create steel U-shaped supports so that our floor remained as strong as before. Some people would have left that out.... He wanted things to be correct and often asked for our approval...making any changes we requested along the way. He is approachable. He had a great, professional introduction the first day we met and proposed a budget. Why we did not give Bruce all A's---and if there is any down side---it would be a rather severe minimizing of the total amount of time needed for the project. As a builder, he is hard to fault in that we did stick to our agreed budget and if he was working for weeks beyond the planned completion time...well, it was not costing us any more. I believe Bruce to be a very honest person and understand that any building project has delays. Toward the end, as another project became reality, I believe Bruce lost some focus here. That said, we are happy with our finished bathroom and make a positive recommendation. Your Designs LLC can be trusted. ((I am having trouble porting over pictures...sorry...if I can add them later, I will. For now, I can say I think it looks just as we planned...and this company delivered!))"

"From start to finish I could not be happier.   I had an idea (a rough idea) of what I wanted to do.    Dan sat with me (listened with patience) and helped me work through the details of my project, he talked to me about what was important and what was not... after he helped me design the building and details that went along with it.    Along the way he worked with me to make adjustments to the design, as well as offered ideas and solutions to reduce my cost (he saved me about 15%).   There were things I didn't think about when I put my plans in place, Dan communicated with me along the way allowing me to think through the changes as well as the pros/cons of doing so.   There were changes we made along the way that make a lot of sense now that the building is complete.   Amazing work!!! <br /> To find a builder who can complete the work start to finish, stay true to his commitments, and more importantly listen to you is not easy to find.   Dan fits this mold. <br /> I have worked with at least 10 builders in the last 20 years...   this is the first review I have written.   The reason I am writing this review is Dan did an awesome job!    From start to finish communication was great, the work was awesome, and the price was right.    With 100% confidence I would recommend Dan and Patriot Builders to take on a small project to building a high end 6,000 sq foot home.   I am attaching my personal cell phone if you would like to personally talk to me - Frank (913) 461-7217  I will be more then happy to show you the work he did. <br /> Dan, thank you!   Its nice to work with folks who get stuff done! <br />"

"I have the most beautiful kitchen by Custom Creations. I designed the kitchen and we worked out together on how to design the cabinets. He is so good. My contractor estimated what he thought it should have cost and he came down right at the money so I imagine that it was what it was, it was fair. His punctuality was very good considering he lives in Traverse City and we live down here. He's honest, very kind and you can trust him in your home. He's also very friendly. I enjoyed having him in my home."
