"Dave has helped us many times to repair appliances - Refrigerator, Washer for us and our daughter. Most repairmen are parts replacers -diagnose and locate the bad part and replace it. That is fine in most instances. However, not many have the knowledge or experience to actually repair a part that has gone bad. It makes sense to do that in some instances. Dave has done that for us when needed. He "grew up" among appliances and so has the knowledge to actually fix things when warranted. I can not recommend him highly enough. I am not one to give compliments easily but in his case, it is well earned."

"The Other Guy appliance repair was able to come out the next day to diagnose our broken dryer. The heating element needed to be replaced and he had the part in his truck so he was able to fix it right then. The dyer is working great now. We were also able to pay with a credit card which made it extra convenient. I'm not sure how much repairs normally cost but it seemed a bit high to me. Though considering the excellent service and punctuality I'd use these guys again"

"Though I had fixed the initial issue I contacted them about, I still wanted to have my AC unit examined in case anything had been damaged while the issue was occurring. There was no problem changing from a service call to a maintenance call (but a small adjustment to the price). Jerry did find the capacitor was not giving his tester any reading, so he did replace that after showing me how the old and new one were registering on his meter. He also had information on A.B. May's service agreements and I signed up for their middle tier plan. Jerry did apply this on the spot which brought the price for this visit and the part down considerably. And as I had signed on to the plan, he also checked my furnace over and gave me some useful information on it. He did replace an old drain hose while he was there, which was apparently also covered under my new plan. Jerry himself was pleasant, thoroughly professional and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. I have used A.B. May a few times in the past and have never had a complaint about the company or any of the technicians that they've sent to help me. Jerry was another example of why I will continue to use them as my first contact for any appliance and home repair work."

Was very honest and stated that based on the price of the parts and the age of the appliances he would not recommend doing the repair. Just charged a reasonable price for looking at both machines."

"My washing machine would not cycle correctly.  I called the 1-800 number for Complete Appliance Protection and they said they would send out a repairman.  I asked who they were sending, and they told me the names of two companies they use, so I chose the one located closer to my home.  I was able to call the repairman directly and set up an appointment for that evening!  The repairman came right over, assessed the problem and ordered the part.  Two days later he came over after I got home from work and repaired the machine.  I did not have to pay him anything.  I would recommend that particular appliance repair company to anyone who needed service done at their home. <br>This is the first time I've used Complete Appliance Protection, and I realize it was for a very minor repair.  However, since I have lived in this home for 25 years and some of my appliances are reaching the end of their lifespan, I expect to be using this service more frequently; I hope the next repair goes as smoothly as this one. <br>"

He explained everything and suggested a follow-up camera inspection which revealed a larger issue which required repairs beyond the drain opening. Without the inspection, the drain would probably clog again, causing more inconvenience and possible damage."
