"The guys were very nice to work with and knowledgeable. They power washed our deck and replaced some bad boards. They also recommend we replace the lattice with vinyl instead of wood which looks really good! After the wood weathered for a couple of months, they came back to stain it. They only sent one man to do the job which took all day and he missed a few spots that we had to go over and re-stain ourself. Otherwise, they did a good job!"

My Father has been in the business for nearly 15 years working with Big Owners/Leaders such as Eric Craig , Perry Kessler (PKC owner),Ken hoover ,Clancy Martin and so many more. "Mr. Appliance  answered my Angie's List message quickly, scheduled the service to easily accommodate my schedule and showed-up on time.  He was able to repair the dishwasher.  I wish the part was not as expensive as it is, but I was completely satisfied with the service and the professionalism of the service provider. I will call Mr. Appliance again for any other appliance repairs.

"I had outdated florescent light boxes in my kitchen.  I purchased 4 new fixtures to replace them and when we took the boxes down only one was properly wired for replacement.  Doug said installing new boxes was a bit out of his comfort range so I would have to have the master electrician.  Earl came out and did a fabulous job.  I could not be happier.  The new lights look amazing!  The reason I gave them a B on professionalism is because there was some confusion when Earl first arrived as to what was supposed to be done.  The communication between him and Doug was not super clear.  However we go it figured out and everything went great.  I would use them again.

"To be clear on what I am being asked to rate .... Choice is asking me to rate the repair service man that showed up to repair - NOT their warranty service itself. These are two different things. I rate the repair man - high. The warranty company itself - ONE STAR. See they advertise this great warrantee .... but when you go to use it ..... in all the fine print .... they write themselves out of responsibility to take care of your problem so BE CAUTIOUS when choosing to purchase this warranty. I have had this warranty for two years ... never needed it. Then my microwave goes on the blink. Took three weeks to get a repair man to my house and a resolution which ended in basically a non- resolution. They opted to replace vs. repair .... somehow figured my microwave was 10 years old - which is a joke and in the wind gave me $191 to replace it - and this is after I paid the $65 service fee. This is for replacement and installation. See in item #9 of the contract it states they ARE responsible for ALL components (excepts handles, door glass, etc). BUT ... then in #16 it states they do not have to repair ... they can opt to offer replacement costs (THEIR supposed costs - which is NOT retail) so for my $319 microwave +$110 installation it is costing me to replace - They OPTED to give me $$191 minus my $65 service fee ..... which ends up being $123. This is a bunch of ********. They know it and I know it. SO .... if this is how they do on a microwave .... I can ONLY imaging what they will do on something big. So ..... I have zero confidence in this company at this point and as soon as this claim settles out - I receive my whopping $191 ... I plan to cancel this warranty and go with another home warranty company. Maybe they will appreciate my business because this one sure did not. They proved that on this small claim. I do t trust them to risk it if there happened to be a larger claim. Horrible is all I can say."

"We have 2 furnaces and they did work on both.
Work on the first furnace was adequate.
The technician first told us there was nothing wrong with the second furnace even though we had explained in detail what the malfunction was.  He finally looked at the unit and diagnosed the problem.  It took over a week to get the part to fix it.  He installed the part and left.  The furnace was not fixed.  It ran constantly and even though the thermostat was on 68 the furnace drove the
temperature to over 80 degrees.  We called them to come back out the same day and get the furnace working properly.  They refused.  They told us to turn the unit off and wait for them to come the next day even though it was very cold outside.  I called the owner and left a message that this was unacceptable since the unit was not fixed properly and that they needed to come back and get the unit fixed.  After 2 months I am still waiting for the owner to return my call.  We called Anthony's Heating and Cooling and they sent out a technician immediately and he fixed our unit properly.  We had to pay extra for this .  The next day ResQ called us and said they could send someone out that afternoon.  We told them to forget it.  We will not use ResQ Services again.  They are not dependable, especially when you need emergency service.  They do not ResQ.
