"Dave has helped us many times to repair appliances - Refrigerator, Washer for us and our daughter. Most repairmen are parts replacers -diagnose and locate the bad part and replace it. That is fine in most instances. However, not many have the knowledge or experience to actually repair a part that has gone bad. It makes sense to do that in some instances.
