"My wife and I hired All Star Contractors to convert an attached garage into living space (about 250 sq ft) and we had an outstanding experience with them. Bill managed every step of the process (design, permitting, build) honestly and fairly, with excellent communication and reasonable pricing. The end result is exactly what we had hoped for. We first reached out to the company with a general idea of what we wanted to accomplish, and our budget. Bill understood what we wanted, and made many useful suggestions to help us create a room that was both aesthetically pleasing and practical, within the budget. The building process lasted about five weeks, with daily work done entirely by two members of Bill’s team (Derek and Mike), with Bill checking in daily to monitor progress. Having the same three people in our house allowed for excellent communication, and it was obvious how dedicated they were to their craft. Any time in the evening we’d see something that concerned us, we’d raise it with them the next morning and invariably they’d show they were already ahead of us and on their way to addressing our concerns. It made us extremely comfortable knowing that the end result would be excellent. As with any project, we considered small revisions in the middle of the process. When that occurred, Bill explained up front the projected costs, allowing us to make informed decisions about what would be worth it to us. Ultimately, the project was completed with great care and minimal stress, within our budget. I would recommend Bill and All Star Contractors unhesitatingly for a large or a small project."

"MC Home did an incredible job customizing our new home. We found them August 2020, moved into the house October 2020 and began work in November. The crew was a delight to have at the house everyday while we were home working, of course noisy with the demo but we made it work! Availability for materials/doors/windows delayed the project at times which was out of their control. Word of advice during home remodel during Covid, don't delay decision making! Eric did a great job explaining things that we didn't know or other ways to think of how to build/style. The sunroom is hands down our favorite room in the house. The fireplace needed a makeover - MC Home gave some great suggestions on trim/moulding styles and it was done in a week. Overall, I appreciated the time Eric and the team took to make sure we understood the process and keeping us in the loop as it progressed each week. Project costs were reasonable and in line with industry standard. We'll definitely recommend them to friends/family and use MC Home in the future!"

"We recently had to have extensive work done to find and repair a roof leak. Duane Mainardi Builders did an exceptional job identifying the source of the leak and all the damage that it had caused. Their crew of Kyle and Ricky are extreme professionals and ensured that the repair work was done correctly. They updated us daily with what they had found and reviewed with us the fix that they were implementing. They keep us well informed and when finished did a through review of what they had done. During the repair they also answered all our questions we had. I highly recommend them for any work your hose my need in the future."

"Flansburg Construction just renovated our second floor hall bathroom and we could not be happier with the results! When setting out on this journey, we received three contractor estimates. Although they were all comparable in price, Dan's group was by far the most responsive and the most helpful. What set Flansburg Construction apart from the others initially was the fact they provide a designer. Bernadette was invaluable in the process. Once she had an idea of our style, she made product selection easy by narrowing down options for us and all the while maintaining our budget. Also, where other contractors required that we order and be responsible for all materials, Flansburg took responsibility for all, which was such a relief! Once construction was underway, everything went more smoothly than we could have expected. The workmanship exceeded our expectations and our project manager provided progress updates daily, in addition to letting us know what to expect the following day(s). "Jack, Mark, and the crew did an amazing job on our kitchen. They gutted the old cabinetry and appliances, gave great input in the redesign, and then installed our dream kitchen. "<p>This was a major home addition and renovation project that ran from July 2014 through June 2015. From the 1st meeting in April 2014 until completion in June 2015 Dave and his crew were consummate professionals. All the guys working for Dave (Gary, Dale, Anthony etc.) were very easy to work with and understanding of our family?s schedule while managing this very large project. The project began with dismantling a large deck on the back of the house and making space for a 950 sqft addition that included a Living Room, Laundry Room, Full Bath, and Mud Room as well as a new deck and a 3rd Garage Bay. Adding on the new section of the house also allowed for an expanded and completely renovated Kitchen.</p> <p>I found Dave to be very easy to work with and discuss progress and options regarding the project. Not only was he excellent at managing the project and coordinating his team and sub-contractors (all of whom were top quality) but Dave also was physically involved in the cutting and framing process of the addition. He did a great job working within the architectural plans and contacting our architect when questions arose. As this project ran through the winter Dave went out of his way to make us as comfortable as possible during the internal renovations. He purchased extra space heaters and constructed a temporary zip door plastic enclosure to keep the heat in the living sections of the house and the cold air from the construction areas out.</p> <p>Dave met with us periodically outside of work hours to discuss progress, go over periodic payments, and to follow up on the work of his sub-contractors. He was also very flexible with us as we added on a few items during the process. These included installing a new roof for the entire house rather than for the addition alone and replacing two existing Central Air systems as we were adding a 3rd for the new addition. Dave also helped to coordinate with Electrician (Jerry Norris) the movement of the main electrical panel for the house and installing a generator cutover box. On top of all this when the Kitchen contractor finished installing all new cabinets and counter tops, Dave came over one Saturday afternoon and personally cleaned the entire kitchen ? wiping down counter tops, vacuuming out cabinets, etc?.basically leaving it for us with nothing to do but put the dishes away in our new cabinets.</p> <p>The price we paid for this project was worth every penny. I doubt that I would have received better quality of craftsmanship and professionalism from any other contractor at any price.
