"The orginial work was done in the 1990's and was the best part of our remodel. They had great ideas, beautiful designs, and the quality is outstanding. Everyone we worked with was professional and pleasant. It was a pleasure to work with them and see how beautiful the cabinets turned out. More recently, after 20 years of constant use, a support in one of the drawers broke, so we stopped out to buy a new one. They were friendly and gave us a couple at no cost; totally unexpected since normal wear and tear caused the break! Great people ~ we are considering having them do some updates for us now."

"We went to them because they were a Kraftmade dealer. The lender we worked with said that they seemed to know what they were doing and thought they'd be a good choice. We were very happy with Stan, his ideas were good ones. He worked with our origianl plan and tweaked it a bit so that it'd be more efficient and more cost effective. I do feel he didn't explain everything as well as we'd have liked, but at the time I didn't know enough about the process to ask the right questions. ie What's the difference between 'all plywood construction' and whatever was the step-down construction option. I didn't realize there even WAS a step down option. He sold us 'furniture ends' which we assumed was just another advantage of using Kraftmade, we didn't realize it was an upgrade that ultimately we don't care for and paid $500 extra to have. All in all though, I'd go back, I'd just be a more savvy cabinet buyer and ask LOTS of questions. <br />"

"Carter Cabinets was amazing to work with. Our cabinets are gorgeous and solidly built. We actually had the work done 2 years ago and the cabinets look just as good now as they did when they were first installed. I am very picky and had spent 3 years looking at different kitchen designs/options and met with several different cabinet companies. Tom and Amy took all of our ideas and turned them into our dream kitchen. The hood over our range was based on combining a couple of different pictures that I showed them. It turned out amazing! They both were extremely patient with us throughout the entire process and gave us a lot of great ideas. We wouldn't change a thing in our kitchen and would definitely use Carter Cabinets again in the future."

"I did not use them but the quote was very fair. They seemed like a good company and were highly recommended to us by some other people. They were inflexible with what they could do. There are only two styles of doors that he made and he would not make the cabinet doors that I wanted. If you buy what he makes I'm sure he makes a great product at a good price. He did not have the modern style I am looking for. The presentation was fine and they were professional but they were not real timely."
