"This was the second project that I have hired TCH to do. It's so nice to be able to hire one contractor and have the same people do all of the work (plumbing, carpentry, tile work, etc.,) instead of having to hire a different company for each part of the project, or have a company sub out the work. TCH has the best personnel, always punctual and very cooperative. Regularly checking with me to be sure the job gets done the way I expected. They were very careful to protect all areas from dust and debris and made an exceptional effort to clean up at the end of each day and when the job was completed. "John came out and did an initial estimate of the work I wanted done.  He was very professional and gave me some ideas on how to deal with some other projects I need done.  The day the work was scheduled to be done he was here on time, completed the work and made sure everything was cleaned up after he was done.  He hauled everything that needed to be thrown out to the dumpster.

"Ivan came out to replace our garage trim due to squirrel damage and did a fantastic job. He was timely, responsive, and easy to communicate with where I had questions. Very easy to work with Ivan. Squirrel crisis averted and garage looks very good - high quality job by Ivan. I also had Ivan look at an ice damn issue we have been having on a section of our home. Ivan assessed the insulation, showed me the issue with lack of insulation (there was only 3 inches) and the building standards, gave me a fair price on insulating, and a week later he has insulated this section of our home. I am confident this will take care of our ice damn issue. I also could not believe this was not caught when we bought our home and again had insulation checked by a company last year after paying $3000 in ice dam removal. "Colin built and stained a custom designed 10x12 pergola as part of our backyard landscaping. The pergola has trim on the bottom and top, and custom lattice on one and a half sides.  We wanted the pergola to run part of the way along the house side to cover the water meter but still give access to the meter if needed by the meter reader, and Colin ingeniously determined that the side could be hinged and have hidden latches, allowing it to swing open if needed.
He was open to our ideas for the design, and added suggested options for how to proceed. He checked in with us as the work proceeded to double check the spacing of the top pieces of wood, the height of the top, the stain color, etc, which was really helpful to achieving the end result we had envisioned. 
He was punctual, polite, friendly, cleaned up each day, and his workmanship is excellent.
