"We used A1 exterminators for several years. In the beginning we used them to change the dehumidifier filters. We started using them because the previous owners had used them to redo the crawl space and install a the humidifier. At some point we also started using them for pest control. We did their Guardian Plan from beginning. The guys they sent over were nice and courteous and always helpful. We were pleased with service until we were selling our home and records of services provided were requested and they refused to give them. We were needing information on if they had caulked some cracks in the foundation when they sealed everything when the dehumidifier was installed. I even had the previous owner call and give them permission to release this information. They accused me of trying to get information out of them that didn't belong to me. Funny thing is, there were absolutely no issues, but they were immediately defensive and accusing me of being in a bad place with our buyers. She talked over me to the point and was so rude, I told her to shut up. That was the end of anything I ever wanted to do with them. Had the owner of this company not been the rudest person I have ever dealt with in my life, I may have left them a good rating. Based on how she treats a customer of 4 or 5 years, I could never recommend them to anyone. Read their reviews yourself. Their bad customer service speaks for itself. When I mentioned this company to the buyers real estate agent, he confirmed that they weren't reputable as did the escrow company that did our closing."

"He was very thorough and actually treated the outside of my house on the first visit. He was a little expensive for the little he did. He also ended up telling me the fix but did not have it. I was told to go to Home Depot and do it myself. I was kind of hoping he could fix it. Otherwise, he was incredibly knowledgeable! He picked up on all the little holes and how to fix it. He is also very flexible with time. He came out in the evening which works best for my schedule. Will call again if I need any pest help!"

"Ryan A. Wilson, owner/operator and his assistant arrived early and went to work quickly and professionally.  They set up a clean tarp, laid down their tools, plugged in a very quiet yet efficient vacuum and also a work light.  First, he cleaned each gas log (which were covered in soot) with a small brush - all the while having the vacuum suck up the dirt - then he used the chimney sweep brush to clean out the flue by adding extension handles as he went up, then he hand brushed the area around the damper and thoroughly cleaned the walls of the firebox.  Next he placed the logs back into the fireplace, removed his tools and tarps and went outside to inspect the chimney from above.

"I paid them to get rid of a snake in my yard but to date the snake is still in my yard and One Strike Pest Control got paid to do nothing. They were very nice but I was told they were going to put different and better traps down to get the snake and they didn't. Not sure they are the ones to call for a snake, I'll have to find someone to get this snake out of my yard."

"Contacted them at 7:30am on a Friday morning about an animal trapped in the Chimney. They had an employee here before 9am (when they weren’t even technically open yet) and he thoroughly checked the Chimney both inside and out (no animals were found.) He then checked the roof for us and took pictures of the areas where animals were getting in. He explained about the service they offer to seal all the gaps, left a sample of the product they use and gave us a quote to do the job. He was very friendly (not pushy at all) and took time to explain everything to us. He also recommended we contact the company we previously used (last year) to do this job and ask them to repair their poor workmanship. He emailed us the pictures he took and did all of this FOR FREE. If we can’t get satisfaction from the former company, we will definitely be giving them a call to do the repairs. Thank you Hug-A-Bug!"
