The salesman, Nick, came out to see us the day after my system kicked the bucket, and after checking out the system, he presented me with a few different options, and without using fancy words, explained everything plainly and easy for me to understand. After I discussed things with my wife, we called him a few hours later to give the go-ahead, and he had us scheduled just 2 days out. The installation team arrived promptly at the scheduled window, and took care to treat our house like it was their own. Drop cloths were used to protect my flooring, and after the job was done they made sure to remove all the debris from the job so nothing was left. After the job was done, the job foreman took me around and showed me everything that they did and explained the function of the system, and when I had questions, they explained plainly and without complaint or exasperation. "Horizon Services Warranty Entrapment New to Delaware, but struggling with a HVAC warranty issue with Horizon. Advice Please. I have been waiting 3 months for an Appointment to get my annual HVAC system serviced by the Horizon team. Starting this process in June, I was told that September 12th was now an Option after 10 min on hold. I did not accept this as this was another month out and I was not available. I have made no less than 5 attempts to get a service appt on my HVAC and each time, since the "10 Year Warranty" maintenance team is 1/10 the size of the fleet driving around, I was told I would be put on a waiting list to be called back. Nothing! No one ever called me. I keep calling them. Horrible! My frustration is a legal one: My system warranty was several thousand dollars on top of the new units and installation. However If i dont get a $149/year Annual Service I void this; if someone else services the units-I void this. I want a way out: 1) Horizon to reimburse or pay another HVAC company of my choosing to perform this service, and keep my warranty in tack in writing. 2) How about a business model for warranty holders: Schedule me like a Dentist....11-12 months year from my last appointment (provided not winter so my AC can be checked), they send me an appointment reminder. This is a big hassle, anyone else have this issue? PS> During my call 8/16 at around 10:30am, i told the representative this was it, if no call back, I would hit social media (Facebook, Linkedin, Nextdoor, BBB).
