"After two failed garage door services by two different google-recommended companies, I was under the impression my garage door was just needing replaced altogether. So, after I entered my information to homeadvisor, Carlos came by to talk new doors, took a look at my situation, and determined he could fix it. I was hesitant after already having two companies and $1200 (total) sunk into the repairs that failed, but Carlos quoted me far less, so I agreed for a last-ditch effort before a $2k+ new door option. Carlos was meticulous in his craft and fixed hinges, track alignment, tension cords AND showed me the motor setting was pushing the door into the ground and would eventually damage the motor! Jeff at GDS did a great job in quickly replacing my garage door motor, belt and spring.  He was very thorough in explaining to me what happened and what needed to be done.  He even tried to minimize the cost by trying to fix the existing motor.  In the end, he provided great service at a reasonable cost.  I would recommend GDS to anyone who needs garage door repairs.
