"House was originally painted in 2006.  Advertising from company says paint lasts a lifetime, but unfortunately it doesn't....Nothing lasts a lifetime and warranty is only good for owners at the time of service.  With our initial telephone call I was told that the person I needed to schedule with was out of the country for 2 weeks and they would have him call me upon his return.  After almost 3 weeks, he didn't call so I had to call the office back.  The process of getting him out to look at the areas that needed to be touched up took several more weeks, each time with me calling the office.  This was also very frustrating since the only person that could help me worked part-time, so it was hit or miss to reach her when I called, and it was hit or miss for her to return my telephone calls.  After several weeks I was finally told the painter would be out on a certain day to do the work.  He and I walked around the house so I could show him the areas.  It was kind of a wasted effort as he missed spots I pointed out.  During the initial painting in 2006, the garage windows (2) were not painted at all.  He took care of those, as well as having to repaint 3 kitchen windows....All the windows that were done were painted shut AGAIN!

"This was our third hiring of Champion since last spring. The first time it was a kitchen window and patio door. The second was a four season sunroom (which they're building now). Now it was two entry doors. Aaron Willhoite was the salesman we met with this time. He was very friendly and answered our many questions about why they're doors are different then the big box stores, Yes, it's a bit more expensive, but once we figured the price in the long run wasn't much more and less headaches, we went with Champion again. Yes, we did run into delays with the sunroom, then again Corvid did cause problems everywhere. Their products have been to date high quality and would consider them again in the future for other projects. Aaron was awesome and very informative about their products and my wife got the doors she was wanting. Thanks!"

"Project went well. We love the size, look and quality of the new screened porch. We had a drafted plan, but F&LB adjusted well during the construction phase and made some good decisions and improvements (e.g. adjusting roof attachment to house; doing a walk out vs. a step down; higher quality steps out of porch). All workers were friendly, cleaned up and professional. Project leaders were upfront about changes, took ownership, and followed through. The project took 2-3 weeks longer than anticipated. With such a project probably not a surprise just not everything timed up right to finish up. We have some final cleanup to do once the weather gets better - finish full siding painting was not complete and a bit unexpected/unplanned. In the end we feel we have a quality and unique porch that we will really enjoy."
