"We are new homeowners and had a hole in our septic tank made of concrete block, which was sending wastewater into the foundation/basement of the home. It was my first time using Angie's List, and I would recommend Illinois Sewer and Drain to anyone. Joe and his team of experts solved our issue immediately at an affordable price. They even went above and beyond to install a sump pump in our basement to help with the rain water. Quality work!!"

"They were professional, took a look at the catch basin and rodded it to get water flowing. Unfortunately the camera showed a lot of roots and the basin has a retainer wall issue. So more work is needed, however they didn't pressure me to do the work now, walked me through the different options to fix and only charged me for the original Angie's list deal to rodd the line. I would hire them again, and just may to do the other work."

"Chris came out for an estimate on a leaking shower that I expected the wall would need to be broken into. His honest evaluation was that the shower door was the culprit. Its great to see companies not quote unnecessary work."

"Gerardo showed up within one hour after I submitted my online request at Homeadvisor. He worked professionally through inspection on the sump pump, check valve & drain line, explained the diagnosis and quoted the estimate clearly, and then completed the fix as expected. I would recommend the service to any one."

"I was fresh out of surgery and realized I should have changed out one of my toilets to an ADA height fixture. Rey understood my problem and got me into his schedule as quickly as he could. He had one of his guys pick one up the next morning and came out to install it for me. Rey and Code Plumbing will be my first call the next time I need a plumber."

"They did an awesome job. Allen Laundie was very personable and explained everything as he was working. Showed us the camera in the sewer line so we could see where the issue was."

"Gary, their head electrician called me and came out. He quickly figured out an odd partial fuse failure off the main line. 150 amp fuses are not easy to get and within 24 hours he was back and not only did he replace both he thought to get me a spare! Any company that goes beyond the simple "fix what is in from of us" and thinks ahead gets my vote! I called them again for a different issue this week."

"Repair guy was nice and did good work. Was not told ahead of time that I would need to pay 408 dollars for essentially hooking up a wet vac to the end of a pipe and turning it on for thirty seconds Expected to pay $200 Actual payment was $493 Line codes from the invoice S-Service Call $85.00 S-Blow Out Condensate Drain $408.00 DESCRIPTION OF WORK / RECOMMENDATIONS from vendor Condensate pvc drain clogged with sludge & slime. Cleared condensate drain with nitrogen & vacuum. Unit draining properly after repair. 0ppm co reading. No gas leaks found. Customer recently had a cc completed. All ok at departure. Recommendation is that if you need this service performed is to get a quote in writing from the vendor ahead of time or just get a shop vac and do it yourself. Will not recommend although would like to hear vendor response as to how this poor customer experience could work better. (UPDATE): The Vendor has reached out to try and mitigate the cost and is much appreciated."

"The owner (Carlos) found a broken sewer pipe (using his camera) not far from the downspout. Quoted a price and was there on the day he quoted. Repaired the broken pipe within 3-4 hours and it looks as if he didn't do any digging. I would recommend his company. Plus he is a nice person."
