"I had metal roofing partially installed by a company that failed to complete after 8 months and taking a very significant amount of money.  After having a number of companies bid the job, I was contacted by Metal Works & Improvements - my very lucky day!  Keith Pike came to take extensive measurements and then provided me with an estimate that was extremely fair considering other bids.  I investigated Metal Works & Improvements with BBB and Angie's List and signed the contract.  My insurance company was pressuring me to complete the job by 7/31/12 or the homeowner's would cancel.  Metal Works & Improvements did their utmost to get the metal fabricated and installed on time.  As it turned out, my insurance wasn't cancelled since I was contracted with Metal Works & Improvements.
The installers showed up on Tuesday with all the metal for the job and both houses were completed by that same Friday including tear off of over 10,000 of the incompleted metal, reinsulating the roof and correcting damage done by the first contractor.  The crew came from Durham to Monroe every day and worked under the adverse conditions of 95 degree + temperatures.  They cleaned the site up completely, were polite, professional and efficient.
