Corey W (H) was the tech that came out to the house and troubleshooted/resolved the problem (leaking refrigerant). He also advised on probability of future repairs. Sadly, the unit performed well for only a short time before failing. It was time to consider my options. Repairs were becoming more frequent and costly. Tyler (H System Designer) visited and walked around my house inspecting my current HVAC system. We discussed repairing or replacing my ailing AC unit. He recommended replacing with a split ductless system and emailed a quote for 1. Enhanced Mitsubishi hyper heat mini split system (system) 2. Favorable financing options - low interest rates and affordable monthly payments. The install took a week. H’s crew arrived each morning, respected my property, and worked as a team to carefully install the new system. With gratitude, John"

"I called to schedule this service for later in the week. The woman who handled my call was nice & professional but would not give me any prices over the phone. She explained that the electrician would give me the cost on site and regardless if I have any work done, there would be a $60 fee just to show up. I was in a time crunch so I scheduled anyway.
The electrician Brian showed up within his time window and was professional. He also put shoe covers on while in my house and cleaned up all of the mess.
My issue is mainly with the cost. The cost he quoted me for everything I thought was extremely expensive. $150 to hang a ceiling fan in a room that already had a fan pre wire was a little high. The bigger issue I had was with the cost to install an automatic light switch to control my outside lights. These lights were 2 pole which means he had to change the wiring on both ends and install the switch. He charged $99 x 2 to change the wiring on both ends plus $99 to install the switch. He wanted to charge me another $99 to program the switch since he said it would take almost an hr. I ended up programing the switch myself in 10 minutes. Almost $300 to install an auto light switch is ridiculous and that did not even include programming.
I also asked him to give me a price on installing 1 outside security light that I had bought and he told me it would be $600. I did not do that b/c that cost is even crazier than what I was charged for the auto switch.
Installation was fine but will not use them again b/c of their high cost and $60 service fee which many other electricians do not charge if you use them.

"Henry and John provided the service and were very professional. Although they arrived a bit later than expected, the inspection was performed efficiently and completed well within the one hour I had expected it to take. I had been remiss in replacing my filters and Henry explained to me why it is important to change them every three months. Knowing the possible consequences will lead me to be more responsible in the future. My A/C unit is installed in an attic and even though the ladder I provided was rather short, Henry said not to bother getting a longer one and made do with what I had provided. John volunteered to carry the ladder back downstairs and carried the longer, heavy wooden ladder out to the yard for me. I was also pleased that both men put on shoe covers to walk through my house. In sum, the service was carried out professionally and cordially and I would definitely use their services again."

"I used Sila Heating Cooling and Plumbing service a few weeks ago because my HVAC system was giving me trouble. This was during the start of the heat wave and for some reason outside unit/condenser unit stopped working. The Inside unit was still working/blowing, but the condenser did not work. I called up Sila and they were able to send someone out right away. There was a program deal, so the charge to send someone out to inspect the problem was reduced to $79.00. Tyler Brawner was the technician they send out to inspect my unit. He not only found the issue, which was a worn out capacitor that needed to be replace. He clean the unit, and checked on my inside unit to make sure it was cooling properly. Tyler was a great tech who was transparent enough too discussed and guided me through everything he was doing, and provide me with some at home maintenance tips for my system. It’s about one month now and the unit is running as normal. Everything all together cost $313.37, I will definitely use their company again, check back with them close to winter to inspect the heating portion of the system."

"I recommend using Heil Plumbing. The plumber, Dave L., arrived promptly, he was professional, and responsive to all my questions. He quickly identified the problem-the toilet needs to be reseated. Unfortunately for me, Dave was unable to complete this project due to circumstances beyond his control. He removed toilet and then removed a rubber spacer that was there off and found a plastic spacer flange that wasn't fastened down and another rubber gasket. He also discovered there are three layers of tile flooring and the flange is way to low. As a result, he could not complete the job. Dave recommended that I replace flooring or have a carpenter raise wood from underneath so the toilet would have support on a new flange. He further recommended replacing shutoff valve that doesn't work for the toilet. Dave spent one hour in my home at most. The investigation and labor without fixing problem cost me $195. Fortunately, I had a vendor coupon from Angie's List which took off $15. So I ultimately paid $180. I'm not sure if that price is reasonable for the area and what actually happened during the visit since the problem didn't get fixed. I'll likely shop this job around to a few more plumbers, but I will probably go with Heil Plumbing again if I can get some credit on the price for the repair based on the investigation and labor that was performed."

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."
